Eugene (KMTR) NewsSource 16 was live at the Eugene airport this morning where First Lady Michelle Obama landed amid tight security.
We have word that a motorcade will take the First Lady from Eugene to Corvallis. Michelle Obama’s brother, Craig Robinson is the head basketball coach at Oregon State University.

EUGENE, Ore. - First lady Michelle Obama, her mother and her kids are en route to visit her older brother, Craig Robinson, in Corvallis, two sources confirmed to KVAL News on condition of anonymity.
The plane touched down just before 11 a.m. A motorcade rushed the first family to Corvallis, where the first lady's brother is the head men's basketball coach for the Oregon State Beavers.

Total Oregon State University research funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, also known as the stimulus bill, reached more than $34.8 million as of October 31, 2010. Projects were approved in competitive grant programs by the National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Department of Health and Human Services and other agencies.
OSU achieved a record $275 million in research grants and contracts in FY2010. Federal agencies provided about $185 million, or 67 percent.
