There was a book called “A Texan Looks At Lyndon” published around 64-65 which claimed the same. I loaned the book to someone and never saw it again.
It was a creditable effort, but probably all conjecture.

I heard this on the news this morning. Also said she had an affair with William Holden while living in the WH. Crazy.

Reaffirming once again that the Kennedy assassination is a Rorschach test for minds disconnected from reality.

Only a fool would have not placed Lyndon Bird at the top of the suspected list.
Having said that, Jackie was so smart she thought Marilyn and Jack were pinochle partners. While Rose thought her husband was being taught manners by Gloria.
Camelot wasn’t a dream: it was a nightmare.

When it comes to really bad Presidents, LBJ is easily in the top 5. He was a piece of garbage on all levels.
Johnson handling a heckler.

This was discussed briefly after the interview, in the media, if remembering correctly. Could be the reason she (took the little ones) left the USA and ran to what she considered, at the time, safety. lbj was a ruthless character.

The article itself, unlike the the title of the post, makes it plain that ABC, current holder of the tapes says the tapes reveal no such thing.

Look, we have to face it. Jackie O was no rocket scientist. Listen to her speaking,,, she is a typical girl from the world of debutants and finishing schools. Not real bright,,

We didn’t have the internet at that time for communication, but while talking with friends and relatives then, I remember everyone thinking the same.
I remember some people, looking at pictures and videos of LBJ and while he was taking the oath, saying, “It looks like he’s smiling.”

I had a copy also....in Johnson's first campaign to get elected to the Senate, someone connected to counting votes in Starr County(South Texas) was found dead also.

I was 10 years old at the time, and the first thought I had was LBJ was behind it. A remarkable insight, or too many TV shows where the “Butler did it” is up to the interpreter.

which is why we will never stop talking about the JFK assassination. The list of possible suspects with motive reads like the Manhattan White Pages.
