What is over looked in all this talk of the NY Times/Cbs poll is that Democrats and Obama get almost as much blame as the Republicans.

Also what is missing is just what the sample was that the See-Bs poll used. If they polled, as it looks pretty clear they did 45% D, 22%R 33% I then off course they are going to get a poll where the GOP gets all the blame.

However, despite staking the deck like that they still get 66% blame on Democrats indicates the whole political class, not just the GOP, is hated by the average voter

That’s because blowing things up get the attention of terrorists while talking does not. A much better move.

DNC Dave is interviewing Bachman next week after Iowa. Guess they must be getting desperate for ratings.

” Wallace gets more animated when he interviews (read attacks) Reps like Ryan.”

One thing I’ve noticed about him, is that he tends to roll up his eyes when asking questions.

Almost like he doesn’t want to look at the responder, or is still thinking up the BS as he is talking.

Unfortunately, Afghanistan/Iraq the entire mid-East is also a huge political problem that must be finessed if we ever want to win any elections. Getting out can be a lot tougher than getting in.

Excellent analysis in that article from the Telegraph. They get it.

""The truly fundamental question that is at the heart of the disaster toward which we are racing is being debated only in America: is it possible for a free market economy to support a democratic socialist society?"...............

..............."The hardest obstacle to overcome will be the idea that anyone who challenges the prevailing consensus of the past 50 years is irrational and irresponsible. That is what is being said about the Tea Partiers. In fact, what is irrational and irresponsible is the assumption that we can go on as we are.""..............

After watching Fox Sunday this morning, my impression was that both S&P, David Beers and Paul Ryan, Congressman, understood the core of our debt problems. I don't think either had much hope that it would change anytime soon without a change in leadership/political mix in Congress.

Hi Fish, you would love the latest battle for the Wu position. As you know I am an Area Chairman in our County and the defacto main Area Chairman since the other two are deferring to me.

We are about to have a civil war between a potential Tea Party candidate and the Country Club choice who lost last election. There are rumblings how the leaders of the GOP are playing games to support the CC candidate and hold back the TP candidate by not processing PCP apps etc.

It may get very interesting over the next week or so since this week everybody has to announce they are running. Guess which Freeper has a front row seat to all of this. Your documentation of Ct battles are going to be very helpful.

Pray for America

True!
What’s even scarier is what will they resort to when they get really desperate which is on the way, IMHO.

Agree. Obama definitely must go in 2012. And the Reps need to change their Congressional leadership as well. They just don’t get it. They have no sense of urgency and lack the passion to galvanize the public behind the kinds of actions that need to be undertaken to get us out of this financial mess.

f given a choice between Mittens and Obamer, I’m going with Mittens. This is how bad I think Obamer is.

Because if Obamer gets the nod again from the electorate there will be no stopping him, I don’t care if the pubs own both the House and Senate.

I agree, I want him OUT!!!!!!!!!! PERIOD!!! He has to go!!! I often wonder what would have happened if all of the McCain haters( and I can assure you I was and am one of them) had not stayed home, but instead had held their nose and voted. We might now have this Marxist halfrican homo in the WH.

If polls show Romney is the only one that can beat him, and he is the Republican candidate, I will hold my nose... again... and vote for him. Then 4 years later, we kick him out.

"who used to do those top ten lists, or was it you?"

It was Snugs who also posted her Sunday dinner from England.

I wonder if the SEALS were targeted by the Taliban to shut Obama up about "getting" Osama. That's about the only "good" thing he has done to brag about to real Americans.

Great post MNJ and exactly what Axeldork had to say on CBS. He blames the tea Party pats and Congress for spoiling ozeros 4 trillion dollar "big deal".

Of course the fact that his regimes Socialistic mandates have collapsed almost everything/everywhere was never brought up. But then that's another story.

S&P translation,

change the age on SS and stop bringing in illegals to destroy the welfare system.

Rush will bring the levels down tomorrow so even the dumbest of the leftists can understand.

Rachel Madcow lied like a rug saying that no less than THREE times the S&P analysis stipulated that the US needed to raise revenues, it needed to raise taxes, it needed to have everyone share the burden.

She lied and smiled as she lied and mindlessly repeated the white house fax.

Good catch John. Makes you think that the regime might have other meanings for the 99% tax rate they have in mind for job producers--their ultimate destruction.

Kill the producers of a country and the shift to all govt. all the time is complete.

Yes, and there is a movie coing out in October 2012 about the bin Ladne mission. These movie people have shown up at CIA and Seal headquarters with administration approval.

I want to know if these stupid Hollywood people, who are using the mission for Obama’s political purposes, leaked troop movements to someone who ratted the Seals out.

There needs to be a huge stink about this movie, both for using such a mission for political gain and also for the lack of security within this administration!!
