SAN ANGELO, Texas Warren Jeffs didn't want to be in the courtroom when the state presented evidence against him for the sentencing phase of his trial.
His former lead attorney returned to represent him while Jeffs was voluntarily absent.
So Jeffs, the leader and "prophet" of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, didn't see the pictures of the temple beds.
Friday afternoon the state revealed pictures of beds in the temple building at the Yearning for Zion Ranch, the 1,700-acre property in Schleicher County raided in April 2008 amid allegations that sexual abuse of children was taking place.
A former FLDS member, Rebecca Musser, testified for the prosecution Friday that she had received training before the temple was built about how beds in it would be used for sexual matters. She said what she had been taught about the presence of witnesses and someone to record the events matched what she saw at the temple outside San Angelo.
"We would learn the best ways to conceive children," Musser said about what she was taught was to happen at the temple.

What most people are missing here is the incest these people practice.
Maybe someone could be kind enough to turn it into an actual picture?
Ever hear about the Kinderhook Plates with the strange writings found in Illinois? Joseph Smith translated them. Turns out they were planted by some farmers as a hoax. It wasn’t until 1981 that the church admitted they were fake. But they still don’t explain Smith’s translation.
What I find amazing about these people is the church will change it’s history and the members will accept it and “forget” what they had been taught their whole lives.
And then there’s the salamander letter. hee hee
I don’t understand this. Is this the official FLDS site and they’re admitting he has all these wives?
There is a wealth of information on that site. There's also a message board. If you have a question - someone will probably have the answer.
Kudo’s to them

And the trainwreck continues...
This trial is just the gift that keeps on giving...
Is Silverman a mormon? I imagine there are plenty of ambulance chasers who’d love to soak old Warren for millions in fees.
I don’t think he is. And according to one report he is not the lead attorney, Walpole still is.
I agree....Kudos to them
THEY = THE. Dang Fingers
Do we really want them in Congress making laws, after all those cults do have a brotherhood, and it already seems to be sliding toward Islam.
Jose Biaz maybe, no Anthony is keeping fairly busy.
The Texas AG, who is taking way more credit than he deserves since he has no prosecutorial powers, told Dr. Drew that Harry Reid got this all started when he brought it up in the senate.
What Harry Reid did was provide cover for the SLC LDS.
The Tx AG also said “IF” there are any more children being molested they will be prosecuted. I have to wonder if he was listening to the testimony. I wonder what he wants to do with the “lost” boys. I wonder if he’s so stupid he can recognize an underage teen when he sees one.
By the way, the SLC LDS’s statement was “We don’t force underage girls to marry”. Never did say what “underage” is.
Orrin Hatch is a mormon. Is Lee?
Meant to say “can’t” recognize an underage teen....
Reid, Hatch and I know there are others, just can't name them, and they do want to keep that silent. Many see nothing wrong with that CULT religion, but I do, and we are certainly getting a full dose of the TRUTH from this trial about what the LDS & FLDS do and THINK.
They need to go in there and simply take that compound over, didn't bother Clinton and Reno when they BURNED WACO.
we are certainly getting a full dose of the TRUTH from this trial about what the LDS & FLDS do and THINK.

San Angelo, Texas (CNN) -- Witnesses testified Saturday about the life and behavior of polygamist sect leader Warren Jeffs, who was convicted this week on two counts of sexual assault on a child.
Prosecutors say the penalty phase of the trial could last several days.
Jeffs' nephew, Brent Jeffs, was one of several witnesses who testified Saturday. He told jurors that his uncle raped him when he was 5 years old.
"This is between me, you and God," he said Jeffs told him. Three jurors wiped tears from their eyes during his emotional testimony.
