NASHUA — Three reserved parking spaces for hybrid and low-emission cars at the new $3.3 million state liquor store are located closer to the store’s main entrance than the handicapped parking spots, causing at least one lawmaker to call the design a slap in the face to the disabled.

They forget that hybrids are not affordable by most poorer Americans and many middle class Americans. The extra 5 Grand adder is too much.

So, in effect, the parking spots are for the pretentious rich who want to feel good about themselves. So they are vain, too.

Under obamacare we won’t have many handicapped people for very long, so maybe the store is just trying to stay ahead of the game.

The hybrid parking space is part of an environmental certification PROGRAM....which means they got tax breaks and/or real dollars for "recognizing" hybrids.

In other words, it's you and me paying for those damn hybrids.

Close to 50% of the people using the handicapped spaces are scamming the system IMHO.

I think I'm going to make up a sign that says:

"This vehicle is a hyrid. Sometimes it runs on gas. Sometimes it has to be towed".

And another 25% have electric wheel chairs or someone else driving.
