Prayers for the loved ones
Oh no. Prayers sent for families and loved ones.
Thirty seven.
Good men wasted while the politicans play games.
Not only does he squander the treasury, he spends the lives of our soldiers without a thought.
That was my thought - exactly.
Horrendous loss. My prayers for those lost and their loved ones.
I am tired of our crews being called NATO
They are UNITED STATES FORCES !
Give them that . They deserve it .
What Units?
A US helicopter crash in eastern Afghanistan has killed 31 US special forces and seven Afghan soldiers, President Hamid Karzai’s office says.
BBC
Huge Huge loss .....time for pay back
ID the taliban outfit involved and bomb them off the face of the earth
No mercy
Thanks for the update and extra information.
Fervent prayers for their families. Sickening news.
I am tired of our crews being called NATO

Granted...
Guess they figure we are like the sheeple, read the headline and move along.
By not saying they are US troops they are taking another shot at us ... Watch them try to sneak the ‘real facts’ out sometime between 8PM Sat and 4AM Mon - if they even bother to do that.
Remember the ‘pre BO’ days when the casualties were broadcast every evening, with pix when available, of OUR KIA’s?
Once BO assumed the pResidency, the daily ‘score card’ was discontinued.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I did like the fact that our KIA’s were being recognized, but the purpose of the Media was to embarrass Bush, so we ought to raise as much hell about the NOT reporting as we did the reporting.
Hate to say it, but if we don’t play by/with ‘their’ rules, we will get buried again.
I’d like to find out what nation gave these cavemen the clearly uber-sophisticated surface to air missile that suddenly was able to take out one of our Chinooks.
Those birds have some fairly sophisticated countermeasures, so the Taliban either needed a sophisticated weapon, or they needed a level of infiltration into our Special Operations command that would let them know exactly where this Chinook was getting ready to land so they could hit it with an RPG as it was coming down and unable to peel away. That second option is inconceivable, so I’m assuming some nation sold the Talibs some nice hardware.
