Politics doesn't always make for gripping TV (we're looking at you, C-SPAN). But that hasn't stopped reality shows from trying -- sort of. Here, a roundup of shows inspired by politics that seem to be anything but political.

That writer said that Governor Palin’s show “bombed” but popeater describes it as “ratings juggernaut”.
‘”TLC may not renew the hit reality show ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska’ for a second season despite it being a ratings juggernaut for the channel.
EW reports that Sunday’s finale will be the last episode aired of the reality series, which averaged 3.2 million viewers per week. The first episode of the show set a ratings record for TLC, gathering a reported 5 million viewers.”’
Hey Tom,
I see you never post a positive Article where Governor Palin is concerned, why is that?
Tom and RitaOk are probably husband and wife, they fit like a glove
I’m starting to get the impression that the MSM is torn between the potential ratings of a good looking, sporty political icon and inadvertently promoting a conservative political agenda.
The former seems to be winning.
You know, if liberal-dominated organizations act against their own financial self-interest because of their ideology, then that’s business Darwinism in action. We need look no further than MSNBCs ratings vs. Fox News to see how much their ideology is costing them. Shareholders should be pissed, but I’m lovin’ it! If TLC doesn’t renew the show that produced their highest ratings ever, then think how much more the show will be worth to competitors.
If Gov. Palin isn’t “too busy” to do another season, that is ;-)
Because I can.
LOL, I think she will be “busy” also.
With the sucess she has brought to TLC and the show spinoffs she has created more jobs than the Obama administration.
From what I understand about this show is that it was only going to be a short one season show. I don’t believe Sarah wanted to do any more than that. She did good but if she does another show, I think people need to watch the show even more. She needs American Idol numbers to get any respect from the liberals. Now if all conservatives took time to watch she would have NCIS numbers. (both American Idol and NCIS are absolutely true hits). We can do it for her but unless we watch she won’t get numbers to get respect from Hollywood. All conservatives need to watch her next show (if there is one).
Somehow I’m thinking this is not going to be good for Sarah. They wouldnt do this if they havent figured out a way of belittling her somehow.

Hey, what’s wrong with him stabbing one of the only conservatives with any guts in teh back? It’s not like she was the only national figure to fight back noticeably against the “terrorist” slur regarding the debt deal fiasco. /s
Hey Tom, who’s your candidate and where were they when Biden called us all terrorists?
Hey Tom, who’s your candidate and where were they when Biden called us all terrorists?
Will this be worse for her than trying to blame a mass shooting on her? No. She polls at the top of the GOP field even after that. Energizer bunny or what? I think she will become the first woman nominee of the GOP. I don’t know when but it will happen.
The Upshot on Palin and Her Updo
What about the fact that in their war against Palin, nothing they’ve “figured out” has really worked?
Sarah declined to do a second season. As for ratings they were a juggernaut for TLC, in one night an episode of SP’s Alaska matched AMC’s hit drama Mad Men.
Bachmann spoke up. Just because Palin tweeted something does not make her the only one that did. Bachmann and Palin are the only ones really speaking up.
I haven’t a clue what Tom’s posting history is but there is not any more articles about Palin to post if you do a quick news search. She is quiet accept for tweeting here and there; this is her secret plan to hang low and not announce any time soon according to all of her campaign managers that post here and read her mind.
