Not content with just robbing a Texas tourist of his money, a group of assailants also chopped off a clump of the man's hair during a Monday night attack.

The 34-year-old victim was walking in the 100 block of Gateway Boulevard around 10 p.m. when he was assaulted by a group of four to six men, according to South San Francisco police.

The assailants knocked the victim to the ground and robbed him of his cash.

While the man was lying on the ground, one of the robbers pulled out a silver pocket knife and cut away a chunk of hair from the top of his head.

I've done some petty $h!t in my life .. shop lift, stole a car with a buddy many lifetimes ago, etc.

So I think I'm capable of imagining crime things I've never done.

I can't, for the life of me, imagine rollin' a guy and then say, "Hey, wait minute bro's ... I wanna' scalp him"

It just don't fit.

Normal for the Bay Area counties.

Cops are simply revenue agents working to please and protecting only their Rat bosses. The thugs know they have a free hand. They alternate between humiliating their victims and snatching gold jewelry off women's necks.

The concern here is that no municipality got the money.

That was a close shave. The victim should have known not to walk hair after dark.

I can’t get the link to open but from the expert, it’s not a scalping. I infer the victim was long-haired, and the mugger thought it would be funny to give him a haircut.

Memo to Gov. Rick Perry: When campaigning in the California primary, stay away from South San Francisco. For all sorts of reasons.

Scalping is making a comeback. Nice. Diversity is our strength, yada.
