I couldn't find anything on that page.
Peter Zenger and Freedom of the Press
In the latter part of 1733 John Peter Zenger began publishing a newspaper in New York to voice opposition to the onerous policies of newly appointed colonial governor William Cosby.

In a sane world, I would agree entirely. In a world where Zero's AG and other Fed agencies essentially supply Mexican drug cartels with weapons, then turn around and attempt to use the 'proliferation of gun sales to criminals' as rationale for a Federal encroachment on gun ownership rights for law-abiding citizens, I'm not so sure. Law and Justice are no longer what I've become accustomed to in the United States Of America, and I find it all absolutely chilling.
I love Big Brother. I have always loved Big Brother.

You can find the link to the KIRO story in the left column of the Orbusmax page, immediately beneath the first embedded video.
Or, you can simply click on the main article link here at the top of the thread.
Here again, for your convenience.
Brother Stoat, please remember that all of this is for your own good. And please do not make me have to report you to MiniTrue.
This is a twofold attack.
The prosecutor knows this will probably get tossed sooner or later but just maybe he will win.
The most important thing is to ensure the judge at the first level does not throw it out with prejudice. This case will then cost tens of thousands of dollars to the defendant and that is what the Prosecutor wants.
Doing this will send the message that the Government will bankrupt anybody who dissents, whether or not the defendant is in the right and thus stifle every body's speech.
The founding fathers only meant freedom of the press to apply to single sheet, hand operated printing presses. It doesn’t apply to any “fully automatic street-sweeper” presses and especially not to the internet.
internet dissent = domestic terrorism

WTF?
Now he should REALLY ramp up the fun....

Try letting cartels run tons of coke into the US too!

I guess if Muslims feel that a cartoon of Muhammad should be an executable offense, (and it probably is a ‘hate crime’ in Canada), I guess the position of the local police department seem reasonable, for a third world country, where there is no Bill of Rights!
Thanks very much for the bombshell link.
I'm wondering how many American kids died as a result of this.
The Federal Government obviously needs a 'thorough' housecleaning.
This is truly a case of someone’s civil rights being violated.
I hope he sues and bankrupts the city....
We’re ALL in trouble here then. I don’t know a single soul who still has the old time respect for police that we grew up with.
I’ve been in and out all day. Has anyone started a thread on the “bombshell” news?
The coke-running seems to go back to 2004!
I’m not seeing anything in either ‘breaking’ or ‘front page’ but far too often people don’t tag their threads properly & important stuff gets lost, so I’d like to encourage you to make a thread. It’s a VERY important item that needs WIDE exposure.
It's exceedingly rare for rogue prosecutors who willingly violate the law to be held to account in a court of law. Just look at what Nifong was able to get away with until he was finally held to account. However the court of public opinion has different rules, and the deck is not likely to be quite as stacked in the favor of scofflaw prosecutors as it is in the real world.
Agreed on all points. A “Downfall” parody would be delicious, with Hitler (as the prosecutor) railing against the cartoonist and instructing his henchmen to ‘follow Eric Holder’s fine examples’.
