Isn't it refreshing to know these politicians spend your money but you're not allowed to know what it's spent on?

Bad enough this crap happens on the fed level but it just trickles down to the state level as well.

When they said “open” and “sunshine”, they weren’t talking about for themselves. :)

All these people will get re-elected in the next cycle.

Is it any wonder why they don’t care what we think?

A dictatorial regime, if I ever did see one. The arrogance and hypocrisy of Democrats knows no bounds.

Don’t understand what Californians have to complain about. Every election cycle, they get exactly what they voted into office - Democrats!

“turnabout is fair play”

Among your peers, perhaps. Being a Most Gracious Overlord has its privileges.

You’d really have to search long and hard to find a worse state govt then we have here in Calif. And that’s really saying something.

So you have to diss us all? Paint us all with the same broad brush? Somebody always has to come up with that same stupid comment when talking about California politics.

I was born and raised here in SoCal. My first vote ever cast was for Ronald Reagan in 1980 and I've never once voted for a democrat.... Not once!

There are millions of good conservative folks here like me. But according to you we get what we deserve, right? I notice you didn't even bother to put your state flag up in your home page and you've been hanging around since 2007? Really?

You might want to stop and consider that you just posted your inanity on a web forum based in California, owned and operated by a conservative Californian.

...the public has no right to see...

There are few public servants left. Nuke them from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

The Assembly Rules Committee, under the control of Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez, said that such documents are exempt under a provision covering "preliminary drafts, notes or legislative memoranda" and correspondence to lawmakers' offices.

I note the total absence of any legal citation of the law, Chapter, Section, etc., that documents the controlling legal authority.

These clowns can't make internal rules willy-nilly binding the entire state legal structure.

Irrelevant. Jim isn't part of the Assembly.
And having lived in California all my life, I agree completely with the original poster.

Either the Democrats outnumber the adults or we are too lazy to get them voted out of office.

He's a voter. Is it his fault?

We'll since the U.S. Federal Government is controlled by a bunch of corrupt, overspending, controlling liars, with a Communist in the White House, I guess you could say the same thing for the entire country.

Either the Democrats outnumber the adults in the U.S. or we are too lazy to get them voted out of office.

Right?
