“...What was once an underground subversive socialist/communist movement against the Constitutional Republic is now an overt act of open treason against the Republic and the people it is supposed to represent, coming from within the halls of our own government. ...”
At which point does the Military step in, honor their oath ti the US Constitution, and remove the traitors from any positions of authority, and then oversee fair elections with ACCURATE vote counts?
Seems to me this is that moment. If not now, when?
Lol.....if you are going to be that free with your blame about who grew federal power then you left off a whopper
Beck much...
U guys kill me

I.Q. isn't the problem -- education is. Even 'the smartest people in the room' don't understand the fundamentals of our republican form of government.
I'd prefer to see a simple civics test, over an I.Q. test.
Democracy is two wolves and one sheep voting on what’s for dinner.

No kidding. We’ve got a one way ticket to serfdom.
I could not agree with you more.
The die was cast when the communists, socialists, racists and promoters of sexual deviancy were allowed to take over the public school systems.
They now have most of the nations children to brainwash for 12 years. Is there any doubt why young adults think favorably of communist tyrants and have almost no unbiased knowledge of American history?
The nation is doomed unless control of the nation’s schools is taken back from the leftists and what are the chances that will take place?
Or it could be the problem ISN'T "too much democracy", it's socialists and liberals who treat the constitution like toilet paper.
I guess Hamilton is viewed as a supporter of a Bank of the US and of centralization of government power in general.
You left out Jimmy Carter.
Please don’t tell me you believe Carter was a nice guy who was just a crappy President. Carter was every bit the evil SOB as anyone on that list and more so than others. If anything, Bush 43 was in the incompetent boob who happened to be a nice guy.

This is the most ignorant statement I've ever read on Free Republic. Jefferson did nothing but warn against what the Democrat party is today. And if some of today's Rats claim him as their founder, it's just another slanderous lie from a party of liars. To promote such garbage is to act as their tool, and grievously defame one of the greatest warriors for fredom who ever lived.
Not to mention that your statement is the exact opposite of this article - which I'm sure you're well aware.
Never sait that all I said was he was incompetant.
Actually if’n ya look @ US History Van Buran was the REAL “founder” of the “Modern” Dem “party”. I was a party founded on NOTHING!
It's your accusations that are a reflexive, Pavlovian, hysterical reaction to the rejection of Hamilton.
The rest of us have read history, and recognize this monarchical tool of the bankers and the Crown as the saboteur of as much of the the natural rights Constitution as possible, and a fervent advocate of debilitating debt.
Thank God this traitor was shot dead by Burr.
Jefferson was the Left wing of the Founding generation and happily allied with the highly Democratic Burr machine in NY City in order to win the presidency. Burr’s Tammany Hall boys lied, cheated and stole just as today’s Democrats do. He also defended and worked with the French Revolution after it had become obviously tyrannical.
Jefferson operated under a mask of virtue but was as big a liar and manipulator as has ever been seen in American politics. Just read what he did to his henchman Burr for no discernible reason. Tell me about the Burr Treason Trials and also that they were something an honorable man would have forced. Listen to what his own cousin, John Marshall, says about him.
Most of my life I believed Jefferson was a great president and great patriot. Then I started doing some intense research into the period of the Founding. Boy was I shocked when I started getting into Jefferson. Malone whitewashes, overlooks or excuses a lot. What I found did not make me happy.
Nor do I think Jefferson liked or (from anything I can see) really understood the Constitution certainly not like Madison or Hamilton. We are fortunate that he was in France when it was written and ratified.
