Activists Plan to Counter Obamas Re-Election Fundraiser in Chicago
WHAT:President Obama plans to celebrate his big 50th birthday this Wednesday at the historic Aragon ballroom on Chicagos north side with additional satellite fundraisers being held around the country. But the President may be in for another unexpected surprise: A Jobs Bash just steps away from the upscale fete in his honor.
On Sundays premiere of The Victory Sessions with Stephen Bannon on TalkRadio 790 KABC and streamed live with Larry OConnor, editor-in-chief of Breitbart.tv , Tea Party Report contributor William J. Kelly issued a call for people - conservative, independent, and tea party supporters and leaders - to come to Chicago for the Presidents birthday and have a jobs bash of their own.
Barack Obama is only concerned about one job and that is his own. He is in town for a birthday fundraiser after sending a debt limit deathblow to American businesses, said Kelly.
To that end, Kelly is helping to organize the first Tea Party Jobs Bash: 2011. He is calling on the unemployed and the underemployed to come out and bring their resumes and business cards to Job Bash 2011 and call on the President to own up to the high U.S. unemployment figures currently at 9.2 %.
WHERE: The Green Mill (across from the Aragon Ballroom) 4802 North Broadway Street Chicago, Illinois
WHEN: Wednesday, August 3, 2011 -- Jobs Bash" reception begins at 3pm.
CONTACT: Call Bill Kelly at (312) 217-4623 (312) 217-4623. For details, watch www.kellytruthsquad.com
good for these people...we need more of this- obozo thinks he’s teflon in large part because of the criminal liberal media....time to really wake up the nation....
Watch for Barry to redefine a TFR and include a ban on any “undesirables” within 30 miles of his person.
I am sure the MSM will give extensive media coverage to the Jobs Bash Event.....NOT.
FYI -- Steve Bannon is the producer of "The Undefeated", the bio-pic about Sarah Palin currently showing around the country. I met him at the screening in Wauwatosa, WI. Nice guy.
The big problem of the GOP (including its Tea Party members) is that it has never been pro-active on the information front. We wait for them to define and attack us, and we never go on the attack ourselves or even make a very eye-catching presentation of our own policies or our own complaints.
Granted, Bambi and the Dems have the major media carrying water for them and doing all their publicity work for free. But if we do something that’s hard to ignore, perhaps they will at least be forced to cover it. Of course, I thought the same way about the 1+ million anti-abortion march in DC during Clinton’s presidency...which was carried by not one major news source. Oh, wait, the NY Times mentioned it on pg 14 and of course reduced the estimate to about 1/10th of what even the Park Service admitted it to be...
Still, we have no chance at all of coverage unless we do something dramatic, something that makes use of modern forms of media and public outreach, and something that cannot be ignored. Good for the people organizing this! Great idea!
Chicagoites and Illinoians call all your unemployed friends and family and tell them to Go! Go! Go!
More power to these activists...surely, the Kenyan Klown would not mind a little extra celebration outside.
Still unemployed in the suburbs but I won’t go; I can’t afford it!
Sorry to hear that and wish you the best of luck. I have a friend who’s son a tech specialist has been out of work now for almost two years, lives in the Wheaton area. Two little boys, but so far the mother has held onto her job. Really struggling just to barely hang on. It is really frightening.
I soooo agree with you. The right simply has to learn how to co-opt the news. Take lessons from Sarah Palin. The only Tea Party that has been effective on that is the TPExpress. Surely we have enough brain power among us to come up with more ways to get our message out. I think that every TP group should pool their money and run some TV ads on their local media. If they did that all together on the same date, it would pretty much cover the nation. Local ads don’t run all that much, and I know that there is plenty of talent to create the ads. The local stations would probably welcome the income too.
I get a little sick at my stomach everytime I see the words “president” and “obama” in the same sentence.
I get even sicker when I see there are millions of people who will give this guy money to get re-elected.
This actually proves campaign fund raising fraud. His base doesn’t have any money to give him. That means the rich are breaking laws by giving too much. It would have been a good thing if this had been stopped in 2001.
TP people should definitely run coordinated ads...attacking the Dems and Obama (not focusing on their disputes with others in the GOP). Unless Bambi is kicked out, nobody, either Tea Party or institutional GOPers, is going to make any progress. That has got to be our goal.
The GOP as an institution uses its money very poorly. All of the ads are too polite and unfocused. They are also very dated in their approach. We can’t afford to hire a good agency that will make us look as if we didn’t all just celebrate our 90th birthday?
LOL! I was just thinking that same thing this morning when I looked at a headline. How in the world did this happen to us?
Sorry to hear those prospects didn’t pan out. Julie and I are praying for you and the family. God be with you.
Jim
