If I see a need to get a gun I’ll have one in a matter of minutes.

Frankly I fail to foresee any disaster, natural or man made that will require me to have a gun quicker than that. I have food stored, I’ve got wood stoves, I’ve got skills, and I’ve got a network of friends and neighbors.

Go out and get one anyway. It’s better to have it, and not need it, than need it, and not have it.

Terrorist generally don't let people in on their plans.

Let them touch off a dirty bomb in a major city or two, and you will find your sleepy little town isn't so sleepy anymore. Ten's of millions of people will begin fleeing the cities.

The chaos that follows these type of attacks will make the chaos of people fleeing a hurricane look like a walk in the park.

And you are easy meat. Friends and neighbors are not going to be watching your back in the middle of the night. If you've spent that much $$ preparing for a disaster you better get something to protect it with. Gun, knife, sword or club ... arm up.
