How "The Bad Part of Town" and failed social policies are used for sinister attacks on the right to keep and bear arms, and help justify the law enforcement world and its budgets.

While anti-rights activists speak emotionally about "gun violence""gun deaths" "human tragedy" and saving lives, what they refuse to say is this—

Homicide in America has demographic, geographic, social and economic factors which, if acknowledged and openly discussed, would transform the debate, and place blame where it really belongs: on the causes and people that fuel the violence we hear about (but rarely actually see for ourselves, except on TV "news").

The real blame is hidden, because the truth is so painful. Crime is not spread across the streets of America. Crime, and crime using guns, happens in isolated areas for well known reasons the media and politicians hide from you.

But, it's useful to blame guns instead of criminals, and blame guns instead of politicians and social policies, and blame guns instead of festering pesthole neighborhoods, in the effort to disarm the public and transfer power to the government and away from the people.

Wow. My apologies. The EXIF data that came up from my Firefox Plugin said that was taken with a Powershot. Now I think I'll un-install it since it gives wrong EXIF info.

But I looked up your Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi at dpreview.com ( a great website) and your Canon seems 'more than adequate' (joking). Except for not having Spot Metering and no programmable Auto ISO, it seems to have the same 'stuff' as my Nikon D3000 (my LCD screen is a bit larger at 3").

But if you don't already have a long zoom I'd check that Sigma Lens out at B&H. The glass is excellent, the pics are A-One and I really love mine.

And I really like that photo on your About Page. When the weather cools a tad where I'm at there's a Forest Preserve near me than I'll being going to, to hopefully get a shot similar. (I love Nature Photography)

And while there to teach the wife how to use her Nikon P100 I bought her for her B-Day. It's easy to use, has a 26x Zoom and other great features, and she doesn't have to worry about changing lenses. And her P100 also takes HQ Videos. Something I DON'T want any of my DSLRs, and why I choose the D3000 over the D3100 and D5000.

The Department of Justice is even slicker than that. The last time I looked up their hate crime worksheet, Hispanic is listed in the victim category but not the perpetrator category. Thus, if a Mexican beats up a Cuban, that’s a white on Hispanic hate crime. But if a Cuban beats up a Mexican, that’s a white on Hispanic hate crime. Just shows you that the DOJ was corrupt and agenda driven even before Eric Holder showed up.

If our government should decide that slavery is once again legal and necessary, then all the cash money you have should be used to buy ammunition.

Those tools of self destruction; The Heroin, Crack, meth, alcohol, weed, cocaine and the lack of self respect will exist regardless what laws are on the books. Why would a prohibition of firearms be any different?
