San ANGELO, Texas (AP) Prosecutors played two audio recordings Tuesday of a polygamist sect leader instructing his 14-year-old "spiritual wife" and several other young women on how to please him sexually, and thus win favor with God.
Warren Jeffs, 55, is head of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which believes polygamy brings exaltation in heaven. He is accused of sexually assaulting two girls, ages 12 and 15, he took as brides in what his church calls "spiritual marriages."
A forensic analyst testified Monday that Jeffs was the father of the 15-year-old's child. On Tuesday, prosecutors played a tape of Jeffs talking to the girl when she was 14, after Texas Ranger Nick Hanna testified about documents and electronic files seized during a 2008 police raid at the church's remote compound in West Texas.
The Associated Press generally does not identify victims of sexual crimes.
Among the materials recovered during the raid was a record of Jeffs' marriage "for time and all eternity" with the 14-year-old in January 2004. An excerpt from hundreds of pages of Jeffs' personal journals said the child was "pure and innocent and willing to obey" and that he summoned her parents and "informed them of their girl belonging to me."

a filthy animal and an innocent......it must have been a dramatic moment in court. and he hides this behind religious behavior? it will forever taint Mormonism......they can claim this was a rogue sect, but their whole history reeks of this. I will never understand.
OMG FOX reporting that the rape happened IN THE TEMPLE? dear, God.
Dr. Scarpetta:
Can I please have a shot of compazine? I am very nauseous.
Miz - Your darn tootin it rips your heart out. Especially when you consider Texas had those children removed from that environment. An environment that you didn’t get to unless Mr. Jeff’s gave the OK. So they were the most likely to be abused.
Attorney General of Texas - Greg Abbott - thank you for not folding like a cheap suit. It takes a good man to stand up to the likes of Oprah and the lame stream media.
Now replay in y’all’s mind all those prairie dress wearing women looking right into the camera - crying and lying:
“We want our children.”
Did you read any of Mr. Jeff’s dictations?
He was very specific about how he wanted the bed/table built.
To the point where he specified a plastic cover for the mattress for the ‘things that are going to happen.’
It’s on the third floor of the temple. There are pictures released that show Texas forensic technicians taking samples.
The question in my mind is this: Did this particular situation arise only in Mr. Jeff’s mind - or is this part of the original rituals that occurred in the temples?
“We want our children!”
I usually avoid these threads....I believe it is rape of their children, it’s making me sick to hear the details. Satan’s kingdom is alive and well in this world.

I read the description and it creeped ME out and I have studied this stuff for years.
My creep-o-meter and nausea-o-meter are both pegged.
Who are the Flying Inmen?
Just wondering if those women were interrogated...
The Flying Inmen (or Flying Inmans or FI’s) are the group of Christians here on FreeRepublic who speak the truth about Mormonism and countered the Mormon proselytizing attempts that went on here several years ago. Me, greyfoxx39; colofornian; elsie; godzilla are some of the most vocal of the Inamans.
We got our name from an LDS/LDS defender who claimed we were as bad as the Inmans who were removed from an airplane several years ago.
And you Nana. Sorry I forgot you in my post.
When was this? I wonder how I missed it.
For over 50 months now (May, 2007).
I cut & pasted the below from a previous explanation:
...the "Flying Inman" designation was given by an Episcopalian -- not a Mormon. (Albeit a Romneyfied Episcopalian). See http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1841913/posts?q=1&;page=101
Just as "Christian" was a derisive term first bestowed upon them by their opposition @ Antioch (see book of Acts), "Flying Inmans" was meant to be yet another derisive term used by a self-confessed FR "Romneybot" (his, Plutarch's term, not mine)... (And it was GF who immediately noted back then that Plutarch was essentially comparing us to "terrorist wannabes").
In that infamous post, Plutarch said (to Colorcountry & six others of us he copied): I regard the claims of Mormonism as theological. Didn't you claim to eschew theological discussion on political threads a few posts back? Henceforth, you and your co-FR-theologians shall be known as the FR Flying Inmans, because in a secular setting you make a big fuss out of religion...
Now in partial defense of Plutarch, there was a bit of "play" involved in this gesture...it wasn't what I would call 100% mean-spirited. In fact, Plutarch, when it was pointed out that he mispelled "Inman" then wrote: Far be it from me to call people names. That would be mean. The FR Flying Imam appellation is just a nickname, you know, like what GWB bestows on reporters and everyone else. It don't mean nothing. If those of you whose negative posting on Romney derive from your theological disagreement with Mormonism want to call yourself something positive, such as Crusaders for Truth, go ahead. I support Romney, so I guess I am a Romneybot.
So if...
...a self-confessed "Romneybot" designated us as "Flying Inmans"...
...in an FR thread headlined "Romney Beginning to Look Like GOP Front-Runner"...
...well consider the source. Ask yourself, "Hmm...which 'camp' do I favor...the 'Romneybots' or those who stand in strong opposition to him?"...
...and then ask, "Who did more than their fair FR share in '07-'08 to head off Romney remaining as that "front-runner" than the 'Inmans?"
The FR Flying Inmans have grown significantly in four years. Praise His Name!
IMAMs....
IMAMs - not Inamans!!
Unless our recruiting efforts are doing so good we have to enlarge our name!
To answer to the best of my knowledge: I believe at the time of the rescue some were questioned by Texas law enforcement in connection with CPS. What became of that hasn't been disclosed. Remember a few children were not returned to the ranch immediately.
In the case of Mr.Jeffs: AAG Eric Nichols has most of Mr. Jeffs spirit wives under subpoena. If they've been served it hasn't been made public. Since the prosecution has rested you can only guess the State of Texas is going to call them in re: 'bad acts' in the sentencing phase.
What I'd like to know is why is Naomie (Jessop) Jeffs-Jeffs still running loose? (His favorite wife, and wife to his father. The one who was with him in the Caddy when he was caught.)
Tonight on Dr.Drew someone - maybe Sam Brower - recognized her voice on the alleged sexual assault tape, and identified her as a wife 'trainer.' Wouldn't that possibly make her an accessory?
I searched for a picture of Naomie, but I couldn't find one. I did read that she was married to Warren Jeffs' father.
