Sarah Palin told Greta that today's vote was a good start, and a victory for the Tea Party. She said she isn't satisfied with this bill, but that it represents a start.

Then that must be a recent change. Oregon used to count votes by hand. How’s WU doing?
I didn’t hear what she said and since there is dispute I’ll simply say I recognize no victory moral or otherwise. So what if people are talking about debt...NO ONE IS CUTTING DEBT! Until I see a budget that shows a decrease in actual spending from year to year I recognize no victory.
I said she APPEARED more reasonable.
It was Romney who took the dogmatic route earlier in the day if you remember.
Thankfully he’s quitting. How is Al Gore doing?
It’s not my fault he lives in Oregon, district of WU.
Not using the same wording she pretty much mirrored what Congressman West said. <<<
Not using the same wording she pretty much mirrored what any FReeper will say on any given day. No news, no ground laid, or broken, nothing original, except for something about the administration begging foreigners to prop up the dollar. Ordinary punditry at best on this interview. The next 400 hundred will likely be better since she still is in her FOX contract and they will use her through the election.
She did agree with this vote, although she wasn’t happy that it gave Obama some cushion.
I’m I the only here who watched FoxNews?
In order to stop a runaway train you must first slow it down.
Agreed. Talk about cuts is meaningless.

I watched the Greta interview. I didn’t get the same message some are touting. Sarah didn’t endorse this debacle. She said plainly that it does not address the real problem and gives the current pResident more to spend when he has already spent us to the verge of bankruptcy. I believe Sarah also stated that the ‘cuts’ are an accounting trick, not real cuts to spending us into greater debt.
Al Gore is not from where, I live. He’s from Nashville.
I live in East Tennessee, a very conservative area. We use machines to count our votes.
When’s the last time a GOP Presidential candidate carried Oregon.
Palin is absolutely right. The tea party has changed the debate. We lack the numbers to win the day, however. We are an election away from making the changes necessary to take back our country. WE ARE WINNING BUT IT’LL TAKE TIME! The sky is NOT falling.
Zing!
Here’s a fast ball to everyone:
We sat on our own beer-soaked a$$ets for decades, allowing this to happen. It isn’t going to change in 1/2 election cycle, nor by 1 vote.
If anything, LtCol West and Sarah are both correct: the deal that got passed confirms we have to fight longer and harder to get our country back; and it must go well past just winning over the Senate and WH in 2012.
Your state produced Al Gore Sr. and Al Gore Jr.
A bigot and a snake oil man, both of whom did much more damage to our way of life than did David Wu.
What a stupid thing to talk about. What does Oregon have to do with Sarah Palin or this conversation?
Right, keep the house and expand the majority.
Win the Senate and Presidency.
Start dismantling. Keep it up for years. It took this long to get into this colossal mess it will take years to get out.
Al Gore is from Tennessee. He was your senator, and your state voted for him and his bigoted father.
Ron Paul voted for money for his district, so he’s obviously a traitor and should be voted out of office.
