Kick out of Congress all those who votes yes inc Allen West(Vanity)

Posted on 08/01/2011 5:34:23 PM PDT by GreaterSwiss

The politicans voting yes lied to us. Allen West claimed to be a tea party leaning politician but lied. This was like Tarp all over. We had the house. All we needed to do was hold the line. Spending would of balanced. Now we are heading for QE3 and the depression can start as the interest increases.

I don’t know if anyone listened to 850am Wftl Joyce Kaufmann the other day. She had West on her show. For a little background, she is the lady who was to be his chief of staff but demurred after a protester threatened to blow up a few schools...but I digress.

Anyhoo Joyce is not only a supporter of West but a former neighbor and great friend of his. He left her hanging in the wind. West sounded almost obama like, complaining about the Tea party loving him one day and threatening him with primary opponents the next day. He was petulant, childish and self serving. Washington got to him and it breaks my heart.

I remember standing in a flag line for a returning soldier with him a few years back after he lost his first race. He sought no attention for himself. He was such a patriot and a gentlemen. Now he is dead to me.

We are simply going to vote EVERY incumbent out... regardless.

Oh really? So if you lived in Lt. Colonel Allen West's district you'd vote for his Democratic opponent?

Sorry, but the "I'm going to throw all the bums out" thing doesn't work. The other side isn't going to go along and you'll just end up electing liberals even in deep conservative districts. How will that help anything?

Run primaries against whoever you like, that's healthy, but voting for any Democrat over a pretty conservative guy like Allen West is just dumb.

Point well made given the unfolding scenario and the large leverage that the HR was able to exert on decelerating the debt march. Allen West is still straight guy. Where was Sarah Palin in the closing hours?

Thank you!!

Apparently none of these "foot stomping sissies" have ever realized that a long trip must be taken one step at a time.

If he “caved”, then perhaps the deal isn't the debacle that the people panicking on FR think it is.

Cantor has never been a conservative. Go back to last yr. He was a fold-em up RINO then and always will be.

It won`t make a bit of difference who`s elected. I`ve concluded they`re all corruptible, as was shown tonight.

The GOP had this victory in hand, but rescuing 0bama`s presidency somehow became Job One, so they gave him and the rest of the democrats a huge, unexpected victory. The GOP clearly misses the old days of minority status.

And I dared hope THIS time it`d be different... shame on me.

DCT...Deep Cover Trolls. I have to admit, I love the tactic. I used it when I coached soccer. Have one of your players tell the guy he is marking “ you’re good, how come they don’t pass to you” sit back and watch all hell break loose. DCT’s are very fun to watch but sorry I don’t think I’ll be voting against my Congressman Rich Nugent but thanks for you’re thoughtful suggestion.

Oh I am so intimidated by your response, I think I will go and cry and change my voting status and tell everybody so they can pet me and make me feel all better

Listen bozo, my family has been Republican since way before your daddy made a mistake and brought your whining self into the world. Yeah I believe what Jefferson said, I may not like what you say but will defend to the death your right to say it so I will give you a pass.

RINO my ass, my family voted for Goldwater against Nixon and Kennedy and our lineage foes back to both before the founding of the country and the Republican party, so take you smart ass retorts and go play on your tricycle.

“”But both of them, the Republicans, and the Tea Party congressmen, fought well, and should be congratulated. And the Tea Party people should still have our support, and more, because they must not only hold their seats, but other Tea Party candidates must be added to their ranks.””

ABSOLUTELY! They shook up the establishment and anytime you can do that, you’re making progress. The movement needs to GROW enormously! Without them, we wouldn’t see what we’ve been following for the past 2-3 weeks. The message was delivered in November 2010 - now we’ll see what the elite has learned. They’re not happy and that should make all of us happy!

A very good, rational reply.

Likewise, they are freshmen members, so to a great extent are ignorant of how the great machine works, which matters in a contest of complex rules.

Personally, I thought Allen West was one of the few who sounded mature and rational - and he attributed it to his military experience, which taught him that a campaign has to be planned, coordinated, and take the long view. I was very disgusted with some of the self-styled Tea Party people because they seemed to me to be more interested in grandstanding and scoring personal points than in getting anything done, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that some of them simply don't understand the procedural stuff because they are new to the job.

It's immensely complicated and I think a lot of it is simply wrong and the rules that the Senate and House have created for themselves essentially serve to undermine their Constitutional powers. However, that's how it is, and perhaps next time the new members and the old ones can coordinate and plan a strategy in advance, rather than flying at each other's throats at the last minute.

“People like Boehner are still traumatized by the gov’t shutdown of 1994. That’s why they’re unreliable, they give up the only leverage that we had without a fight— the debt ceiling.”

I used to believe that, but not anymore. Boehner is not traumatized by any of this. I think he wanted this to end up this way from the get go. Boehner is an established GOP RINO. He is in with the Democrats and the status quo. This is what they do. They pass laws to rob us then party and have cigars and drinks behind closed doors making back room deals with lobbyist. This corruption is embedded deep in Congress in both political parties. It’s evil It has to be cleaned out.

Sounds like any random FReeper to me. Are you trying to tell me that Allen West is a RINO???
