The politicans voting yes lied to us. Allen West claimed to be a tea party leaning politician but lied. This was like Tarp all over. We had the house. All we needed to do was hold the line. Spending would of balanced. Now we are heading for QE3 and the depression can start as the interest increases.
You’ll be in your offshore home, though.
You’re the coward, FRiend.
“There was no legitimate call for a debt ceiling increase,”
Say WHAT? Cut spending 40% all in one year? Political Suicide. People want their hand outs. People want their programs. People VOTE. You can’t cut them off “Cold Turkey”. What a stupid statement you made.
Do you ever make sense or do you always babble senselessly? Never mind. I think I know that answer.
That’s not true, Jim. Did you listen to Paul Ryan tonight, or John Thune? I do agree with the “Super Congress”, but that’s a folly put out by the GOP that won’t amount to anything.
Allen West was just on Greta. Hope you watched him, because I called prior to it why he voted as he did.
Anyhow, thanks for the response, Jim. I think this is a win for the conservative movement in the long run, especially since there are no tax increases in this bill.
“The passage of the terms of the bill will require more than 3.3 trillion in new taxes within less than 3 years.”
Another IDIOTIC statement.
Lets put some prespective on what we are dealing with in todays budgets. Here's two graphics one of a billion dollars and the other a trillion dollars. These are standard pallets stacked with $100 bills and contain $100 million each.
A Billion Dollars
A Trillion Dollars
These pallets are double stacked...
Above your pay grade youngster, I thought so
Go home now, your mommy has dinner ready, and don’t forget your bike this time
How so? I’m watching Sarah Palin on Greta, and she is as shaky as I’ve ever seen her.
You do realize that without the 2010 elections, that the debt ceiling would have been raised with no debate, right?
“We actually cut baseline spending next year by $21 billion, and thats without a GOP President.”
So if someone makes $100,000 a year that would be like them taking a $200 cut.
They cut about 0.2% of the budget out of trillions and you are excited. Doesn’t take much, does it? I bet you’re a cheap date.
*like*
Sarah Palin just called this bill a victory for the Tea Party.
Congrats on outing yourself as an emotional reactionary.
We are simply going to vote EVERY incumbent out............................... Let me know when you voted out Shumer and Frank.
That was a classic.
“They can’t recognize this as the VICTORY that it is under the circumstances. The tide is turning and we are WINNING”
So was Charlie Sheen.
I don’t see spending trillions more as “Winning!”
I don’t see kicking the can down the road as “Winning!”
You “winners” have some pretty low standards for winning.
>> “You do know who Grover is right” <<
.
A muzzie sympathizer for starters, and one that profits from financial debacle in his business, so his advocacy of this abomination is expectable. All the gold sellers will make a bundle on this one.
Thank you - for a minute, I was feeling like I was being abandoned to the knee-jerkers. Scary few moments ;o)
“Youre a traitor to our cause.”
What cause is that, “Winning!”? You are confusing the fiscal health of this nation with an 8th grade cheerleading squad rooting for the losing basketball team.
I believe criticism of the Republican Party leadership is in order. A better deal was within reach, but McConnell almost single-handedly pissed all the momentum away with his pea-brained abdication proposal.
There's plenty of room to criticize Boehner tactically, as well. He didn't seem to grasp how strong his position really was. Or how strongly his supporters resisted back-room dealing.
Even though we control but one-third of the machinery of government, we could've done better than we did.
Nonetheless, that said, despite all the missteps, we did OK. And the best course of action going forward is rolling even more RINOs in the primaries, then crushing the 'Rats in the general.
A Tea Party tidal wave will allow us to do in '13 what we couldn't do in '11. And more. A whole lot more...
“emotional reactionary.”
I consider the fiscal health of this nation important. You simply want your political party to be “Winning!” The emotional baggage is yours.
Oh noes, now Saint Sarah called this vote a “Victory” on another thread, thus betraying us True Believers!
