I’m wondering if this “compromise” will be very much like the first TARP bill in 2008 that unexpectedly failed in the House. That too was a “moderate” bill that alienated people on the left and right and it turned out there were not enough in the “middle” to pass it.
DeMint was muzzled by McConnell.
That can happen.
Often it can happen with no orchestration, since the folks in question are not accustomed to working with each other.
But the far left hate this bill. Failure to pass is possible.

Why are some saying ol’ 40% Obama is in a better position for reelection? He’s been further damaged during this battle. The cuts here are a joke, and it continues to be a club we beat him with.
heard nothing of the progressive and black caucuses meeting with The One tomorrow to stop this...was that meeting cancelled...Or are they voting FOR THIS plan?...They wanted taxes raised (and the group included Bernie Sanders - Commie).
