I’m wondering if this “compromise” will be very much like the first TARP bill in 2008 that unexpectedly failed in the House. That too was a “moderate” bill that alienated people on the left and right and it turned out there were not enough in the “middle” to pass it.
That can happen.
Often it can happen with no orchestration, since the folks in question are not accustomed to working with each other.
But the far left hate this bill. Failure to pass is possible.
