President Barack Obama alienated 37,00 twitter followers last night with scores of tweets urging followers to contact their local Congressman over the debt deal.
With his approval rating sitting at an all-time low of 40 per cent amidst the debt crisis, tens of thousands of Americans unfollwed the President to avoid the deulge.
The president’s staff sent a total of 118 tweets asking his followers to write their Republican lawmakers to demand a compromise on debt legislation.
The first tweet read: 'The time for putting party first is over. If you want to see a bipartisan #compromise, let Congress know. Call. Email. Tweet.

Judging by his Facebook fans I can assure you that the majority of them are outside the country.
I cannot stand listening to him. I have not seen a speech of his or listened to a speech of his since he had become President. And I cannot stand his lies he posts on Facebook and Twitter.
Being politically involved (fake democrat FB and Twitter accounts and all) I do post on his Facebook. So, whenever I do that I "like" his page first, post my comment and "unlike" his page. That's how much I cannot stand him.
That being said, just because someone "likes" a page does not mean they are all fans of his. I'm sure the conservative political pundits are among those 9 million. I know Sarah Palin is. It's a way of keeping up with the enemy. But me, I can't stand him enough to see his posts so I "like" his page, post then "unlike". I guess I am what you could call a "drive-by poster". ;)

With the dead, nonexistent (but voting!) ACORNs, and illegal aliens, that still brings his total to 50,000,000.
A very large percentage of his followers are the media who need to “do their job” (get talking points).
Another large portion is opposition researchers who are looking for mistakes/flubs.
A second segment is his own party members who are looking for talking points and want to stay on message.
A massive portion is overseas useful idiots (this is why we need to allow the world to vote in US elections)
This leaves Obama with very few followers in the US who actually support him.
