The Obama administration ... created an artificial date so they can blame an economic downturn on not increasing the debt.
... With or without a debt increase, the ratings of U.S. Treasuries will be decreased if government expenses are not cut and a budget is not produced – and this administration is loath to do either.
So, it is apparent to me that the Aug 2 date will change – it is a created, artificial-crisis date – and that America is in for some tough times. It is apparent to me that Obama is trying to escape the blame for the upcoming tough times by using the debt limit as the reason for any economic downturn.
Obama understands that his policies for the recovery are failing. GDP growth estimates (less than 2 percent now and negative for the third quarter), inflation (especially gasoline and food) and unemployment (currently 9.2 percent and increasing) were already falling apart before this debt limit-crisis. So Obama looked for a scapegoat in the debt limit disaster.
The recovery is a failure, and Obama owns the recovery. He and Geithner have been lying to us about Aug. 2, ...
As this administration continues to say: "Why take the risk?" Let me say: "There is no risk. All of this is fabricated. Hold the line on the debt limit and force this government to cut expenses. Obama and Geithner have been lying to us."

We have been living with these manufactured crisis for 3 years now. When one does come alone no one will believe it. We may have reached that point.
