It is being reported on Fox that the House GOP is threatening any hold outs with retribution if they do not vote for the Boneher bill tonight.

The holdouts will be just fine, we the people will see to it. Tonight is not a “make or break” moment for their careers, it is a make or break moment for the House Leaders careers.

Apparently the GOP leaders all missed the message of last election. Keep this crap up GOP Establishment and we will primary you into retirement just like we did a bunch of your fellow political dinosaurs in 2010.

According to Fox News, it’s the Texas delegation that is manning the last ramparts against the Boehner/Obama debt fiasco. They are being threatened by Boehner that this will end their political career, as if Texas voters are for more reckless government spending.

If you are a Texan, call or email your congressman NOW and tell them to stand firm for smaller government and freedom!!!
Remember the Alamo! Some things are worth fighting and dying politically for.

Without any increase , we that work and our kids owe $92,000 dollars.

Then add our annual tax obligations.

It’s over.

Done.

Life as Nancy Pelosi knows and wants it , must end.

Because not one elected politician will ever cut one single program, best is to let it collapse- ending all programs.

Our government is like a group of 16 year olds with an American Express Black card and President Obama is the most fashionable girl of the bunch.

Hold The Line!! .. or perish.

- AFP - Tea Party activists gather on Capitol Hill for a "Hold the Line" rally in Washington, DC. The United States lurched Wednesday toward a potentially ruinous default or painful downgrade of its debt rating, as polarized politicians waged a see-saw battle with a key deadline six days away

Mr Robinson, where was this kind of support for our freeper friends that despised RINO’s
and wanted to hold this same standard you’re talkin about right now. They got booted out. It’s discouraging. Freepers that were trying to warn against just this kind of crisis, if we continually voted RINO’s into office.

I love your spirit. If they can succeed in wrestling an uncompromising immediate cut out of the Dems, then godspeed, but I don't see any realistic chance of that happening.

As much as I appreciate the newfound principle, I don't see how we can win this politically absent a compromise increase. We're already losing the PR battle (shock) in the MSM.

It’s been hard to see a clear path forward on this changing situation. I know mine is a less-widely trumpeted position here on FR, and granted, maybe I'm mistaken, but as painful as it is, when you're in a minority position, as we are on the Hill, you take the best deal you can get to minimize the damage to the country (unquestionably our first priority), and try to avoid being politically eviscerated, which is what will happen to us if we don't compromise, and the result is either a partial government shutdown or negative economic repercussions (genuine or ascribed). 2012 is perhaps the last big chance to fundamentally reverse what Obama has wrought, generic Republicans are outpolling him; we should not sacrifice the enormous opportunity to do good then, with a largely symbolic one now.

I think it has become abundantly clear that 2.6 trillion for Obamacare is not fiscally responsible. Repeal it NOW.

Before ANY American suffers one slap in the face. ALL foreign and payments to other than for American bene should be halted.

Wonder what would happen if all the money that is going to prop up American hating entities stopped.

Plus ALL federal benes to illegals must stop, period.
