My thought: If he or she voted in the best interest of his constituents and he or she got a primary opponent...so what? The thought of being bought off or coerced is an anathema to me....just saying. My rep is on the wrong side of this issue and I will do all I can to see him defeated next year!

I think I know why there is a delay. They’re all getting their last minute pork tack-on line items ready. Could be exciting, you know, stuff like.... a new MagLev Railway between Butte and Omaha.

“I dont think the Senate can do this.
Does not the Constitution MANDATE that spending bills must originate in the House?”
This is not an appropriation bill - it actually pretends to CUT money already appropriated.
And apparently Boehner doesn’t believe that this has to originate in the House, because the way he has done his bill was to amend a SENATE bill. Look up the bill number for the Boehner plan - it has a Senate bill number.
