A shocking video has been released allegedly showing police officers tasering and beating a homeless man to death who they claim was resisting arrest. Though the video is not clear, eye witnesses say the homeless man - Kelly Thomas, 37 - was unable to put up any resistance and was lying on the ground on his front when the attack took place on July 5. His screams and cries for his father can be heard amid the tasering noises.

Oh...it's okay. The boys in blue showed another punk who's boss.
Now you keep those boots polished real nice!
Did the officers beat him until his face looked like the picture posted above? Did they kill him?
I only wonder why the first cop on scene didn’t just save the others some energy and just shoot him on sight. It wouldn’t be the first time a cop did that.
I watched the video...
I don’t know if I could have just stood there.
And I feel for the witnesses that did stand there and did nothing...to later find out this man died.
Because liberals have made involuntary commitment to mental hospitals nearly impossible.
Have you quit getting off to ‘snuff’ videos, yet?
You’re reprehensible to be defending this.
Nothing this guy did, or had done in the past, rises to the level to were these scum were justified in using deadly force.
NOTHING.
Every damned one of those cops should ride the lightning on a one-way ticket to eternal flaming Hell.
Something. Believe me, if there was tech out there that officers could use that would instantly incapacitate a resistive person without the pain and it kept them in that state until properly restrained, I would buy stock in it.
Taser is not teaching it’s instructors who in turn teach all other officers, to keep tasering over and over again to gain compliance.
I can understand why they didn’t intervene. Had they challenged the cops, the Blue Wall would come down around them for the rest of their lives and they would have to get out of town. Mind you, had I been in their shoes and watched that kind of behaviour from the local police, I’d move away anyway.
Our elected officials are not listening to us, our law enforcement are running around killing every third person they run into..... when are we, as Americans, going to stand up and say enough is enough.
Much greater men than we have stood up to much worse for much less........
I was born about half a mile from where this happened. I was at the very spot within the last three months. One of my boyhood friends is a sergeant with the Fullerton police Department, though I only see him from time to time when he’s on patrol while I am in Fullerton.
This indeed looks very bad. I am watching closely to see how the authorities respond. For now the Police Chief is offering full cooperation so we’ll see. This has been on local news, though I suspect it’s because of the attention arising from other outlets. KNBC TV did a story on last night’s news.
“I have to wonder why this schizo wasnt locked up in the first place to prevent this from happening?”
Maybe they should lock us all up so the cops aren’t forced to do this more often.
Six gang thugs beat a aman into a coma because he “dissed” them and you are OK with it?
No we did not, but he had some bruising on his arms and legs where we were trained to strike to stun the large muscle groups. We were able to hold his head stationary so he could not bite us, but he definitely wanted to.
Sometimes a resistor will overcome their pain threshhold and then there is precious little you can do other than use weight to hold their limbs down until they run out of steam. Some PCP abusers do this as well.
The teen I fought with went positively primal, drooling, animal noises, scratching, and trying to get up the whole time. Humans can be immensenly strong when stimulated in the right or wrong way...
shocking. Just shocking.
Yes, far better to cover it up, mustn't worry the sheep with the notion that cops just might beat them to death for the hell of it.
I find it amazing how these articles bring out the usual comments about "only one side of the story" etc.
I came from a very dysfunctional family. One evening my dad was beating mom. Mom called the police, when they showed up she had a kitchen item in her hands ready to swing for her life.
The cops tried arresting her. My little brother and I jumped the dumb cops. Dad spent the next several days ‘cooling off.’
That said, a man died and they all stood around and watched. Even one guy was all excited to have a youtube video of it. To me that is just gruesome, that video did not save his life or even stop the cops.
I may have found myself tasered and beat too, but at least I would be able to live with my soul.
