AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone. . .

True! And, not only Boehner’s phone lines. Most of the folks on my local email contact list called our Congresscritter to advise that IF the rumor was true, we expected her to vote against it. The guy answering the phone said he’d been getting a ton of phone calls. :-)
Speaking of the ratings agencies, anyone else wondering about the timing of this....
Contemplate the unemployed numbers of your countrymen, and then say 'what should be the reward of such hardships' Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, supplicate the friendship and plough, and sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of liberalism to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth? If ye love government better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or candidates. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!
“NO WAY...
This is a SELLOUT, kick-the-can-down-the-road deal.
We have these idiots on the ropes, its time to drive it home, NOT fold!”

No cuts now and defense cuts will be off the table; appoint commission to decide cuts. blah, blah, blah til next April.
NO MENTION of WHEN cuts will be enacted-—over 10 yrs? NO GOOD; too little, too late.
I still don’t think Boehner knows who he is dealing with.
Meanwhile, Obama can tax, tax tax (be other means) and spend, spend, spend and put us into another debt limit crisis even worse than this one by next April and any spending cut proposals that leak out will be wholly inadequate to deal with the crisis that will exist then.
The only curb it puts on Obama is to deny him a debt ceiling limit through 2012. That demand should have never been on the table to begin with.

Rush: “CNN didn’t report its own poll 67% supported Cut Cap and Balance”.
That should be bigger news everywhere.
I would see April 2012 as a good move. It’s tax month, and can you imagine how far to the right politicians of both parties are going to start sounding with the election looming in November? It’s going to get CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES hot!

Thanks for that. Need I add that I am shocked, just shocked? CNN suppresses their own poll showing that 2/3 of the people want the budget balanced, spending capped and meaningful cuts made?
Holy crap, no heat records broke last week?
LMAO Al not so Sharpton spewing the Libtard talking points that Rush is wind chill denier.
On the other hand, the DEMOCRATS and their supporters in La La Absurdistan do NOT want a balanced budged, caps on spending, and meaningful cuts made.
Thanks for the ping, Bg.
Been busy, but listening now.
