No cuts now and defense cuts will be off the table; appoint commission to decide cuts. blah, blah, blah til next April.
NO MENTION of WHEN cuts will be enacted-—over 10 yrs? NO GOOD; too little, too late.
I still don’t think Boehner knows who he is dealing with.
Meanwhile, Obama can tax, tax tax (be other means) and spend, spend, spend and put us into another debt limit crisis even worse than this one by next April and any spending cut proposals that leak out will be wholly inadequate to deal with the crisis that will exist then.
The only curb it puts on Obama is to deny him a debt ceiling limit through 2012. That demand should have never been on the table to begin with.

I would see April 2012 as a good move. It’s tax month, and can you imagine how far to the right politicians of both parties are going to start sounding with the election looming in November? It’s going to get CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES hot!
