[history]
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner said Sunday that he did not initially think lawmakers would bring the debt-ceiling negotiations "this close to the edge," appearing taken aback by the lingering distance between the two sides with an Aug. 2 deadline looming.

You got to be kidding. Here’s a guy that can’t even operate Turbo Tax and he’s giving warnings about the debt limit. I think that he may have a credibility issue. Maybe he should get together with Slow Joe Biden and do a little image and credibility building.

If the republicans werent a factor, what plan would the dems use to remedy this problem? They would just raise the debt ceiling. None of this stuff about actually cutting any spending. Just refill the checkbook with new checks.

Why is it that everyone - top to bottom - in this administration is so surprised about everything. Not a one of them has a lick of sense.

Share the video with all your friends.
Click. It is so ridiculous. In Geithner's opinion the House should just play ball so that Democrats stand a chance in the 2012 election, and because the Obama administration has absolutely no concept of what to do in the event of a default. These people are INCOMPETENT. They have guzzled their own kool-aid.
