Terrorist proclaimed himself 'Darwinian,' not 'Christian'

Terrorist proclaimed himself 'Darwinian,' not 'Christian' Norwegian's manifesto shows Breivik not religious, having no personal faith

WASHINGTON – A review of Anders Behring Breivik's 1,500-page manifesto shows the media's quick characterization of the Norwegian terrorist as a "Christian" may be as incorrect as it was to call Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh one.

Breivik was arrested over the weekend, charged with a pair of brutal attacks in and near Oslo, Norway, including a bombing in the capital city that killed 7 and a shooting spree at a youth political retreat on the island of Utoya that killed more than 80 victims.

Piecing together Breivik's various posts on the Internet, many media reports have characterized the terrorist – who says he was upset over the multiculturalist policies stemming from Norway's Labour Party – as a "right-wing, Christian fundamentalist."

Yet, while McVeigh rejected God altogether, Breivik writes in his manifesto that he is not religious, has doubts about God's existence, does not pray, but does assert the primacy of Europe's "Christian culture" as well as his own pagan Nordic culture.

Breivik instead hails Charles Darwin, whose evolutionary theories stand in contrast to the claims of the Bible, and affirms: "As for the Church and science, it is essential that science takes an undisputed precedence over biblical teachings. Europe has always been the cradle of science, and it must always continue to be that way. Regarding my personal relationship with God, I guess I'm not an excessively religious man. I am first and foremost a man of logic. However, I am a supporter of a monocultural Christian Europe."

The terrorist also candidly admits he finds no support within either the Catholic or Protestant churches for his violent ideas.

““We are not sure whether he was alone or had help,” a police official, Roger Andresen, said at a televised news conference.”

“He added, “What we know is that he is right-wing and a Christian fundamentalist.”

“Breivik has not been linked to any anti-jihadist groups, he added.”

This news conference by this police official was reported by the global media thus entoming these initial accusations as fact into the minds of people worldwide. This has and continues to bother me.

What's it to you?

I only makes me want to know why.

Without any explanation, responses like that downgrade the credibility of what the person is trying to say. If the poster wishes to continue being considered a 6 year old, then I guess no explanation is necessary.

Let's say I didn't bother with punctuation. Would you not find it hard to read, and wonder why I did that?

This whole episode seems so much like a Hollywood film plot.

So it's the retards that capitalize there in Bizarro World?

Well, I was going to commend you for your remarkable grasp of grammar, until I saw you provide this stunning example of number disagreement.

Nevertheless, your grammar is still apparently better than your grasp of irony.

In his manifesto, (http://www.kevinislaughter.com/wp-content/uploads/2083+-+A+European+Declaration+of+Independence.pdf) pp. 1405, and 1361, the man asserted that he considered himself “to be 100% Christian” yet he basically denied (even before his rampage) that he was a Christian in the Biblical and evangelical sense, that of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and holding the Scriptures as supreme, and waging “war” by spiritual means.

Instead, he held that “science takes an undisputed precedence over biblical teachings,” and in his definition of Christian he also asserted, “Being a Christian can mean many things;..” “It is enough that you are a Christian-agnostic or a Christian atheist (an atheist who wants to preserve at least the basics of the European Christian cultural legacy (Christian holidays, Christmas and Easter)”

What he wanted was the the culture of Christianity, and stated, “It is therefore essential to understand the difference between a ‘Christian fundamentalist theocracy’ (everything we do not want) and a secular European society based on our Christian cultural heritage (what we do want).

To achieve it advocated that the current Church leadership to be replaced and the systems somewhat reformed, and that “Efforts should be made to facilitate the de-construction of the Protestant Church whose members should convert back to Catholicism,” and that the latter should engage in crusades to take back territory.

Does not sound like any Christian fundamentalist i know.

"Sure, HG was a little gruff. But he was trying to make a point, and a very good one."

No, he was being what he is very good at and that is being a total prick. If he truly was trying to make a point, he could have done so in a manner less prick-like, and perhaps through a private message. But no, public humiliation and smart-ass comments are his hallmark, so he goes for it as always. You make him sound like a old grumpy uncle that everybody puts up with but loves dearly because "that's just the way he is." Don Rickles he is not.

"All possibly true. I even offered options as to why he didn't bother capitalizing properly. I have even asked him WHY. Is it asking too much to ask someone WHY they don't bother to capitalize?"

Maybe because its none of your f*cking business. Maybe because your position in life is not to be a self-appointed grammar Nazi correcting every minor slip-up that people make.

"As I stated before, I have run into posters who seem to have a problem with spelling, grammar, or capitalization, and I try to be upfront and just ask them why. Usually there is a very simple answer."

Refer to previous comment.

"If you think what HG did in his original post was 'bashing', then you must have a very thin skin. HG is known for being blunt."

No, he is known for being a smart-ass prick who apparently relishes in displaying his superiority over others who do not fit his criteria of a "perfect" poster. I can tolerate just about anything this world can throw at me, especially something as innocuous as capitalization. To borrow a well-known qoute, "I hate rude behavior in a man. I won't tolerate it."

"Perhaps ken21 could explain why he doesn't capitalize. Maybe he is just learning to type. I correct people on their spelling and grammar all the time, mostly in the hope that they will learn from it."

Perhaps Ken21 doesn't need to explain shit to you at all. Does President Bush need to explain all his "Bushisms" to you? He wasn't a very effective communicator either but he became President of the United States. Did you send emails to the White House during his Presidency and correct his mistakes?

Don't get me wrong, it does upset me to see people who do not have a strong grasp of the English language but I take into consideration the circumstances involved instead of trying to get the speck out of their eye while a plank is stuck in mine.

"Does that mean that I think I'm superior to everyone else?"

I don't know - do you think you are?

Quit derailing threads for once and discuss the topic. The topic of the thread isn’t someone’s grammar skills but about a deranged mass murderer.

Staying on topic is more important than nitpicking people’s posts for grammar errors. This is not school. So get off your high horse and discuss the topic.

In the big picture, grammar doesn’t matter to the nearly 100 young people who were mowed down by this mass murdering psychopath.

Not only, but

If there is a God I will be allowed to enter heaven as all other martyrs for the Church in the past...

I highly recommend that you, prior to the operation, visit a Church and perform the Eucharist (Holy Communion/The Lord’s Supper ). As we know, this ritual represents the final meal that Jesus Christ shared with his disciples before his arrest and eventual crucifixion. You should also solve any issues you might have with God and ask for forgiveness for past sins. Finally, ask him to prepare for the arrival of a martyr for the Church.

Pope Urban II and Pope Innocent III granted indulgence to all future Crusaders The PCCTS, Knights Templars are Destroyers of Marxism and Defenders of Christendom. We are Crusaders, martyrs of the Church, selfless defenders of the weak and the blind. We our not only automatically granted access to heaven in light of our selfless acts; our good deeds and final sacrifice will be added to the divine storehouse of merit and will therefore help other less virtuos individuals...

I usually refer to Protestantism as the Marxism of Christianity. As long as you ask forgiveness before you die you can literally live a life as the most despicable character imaginable.

When a Justiciar Knight martyrs himself for the cause he walks down a path well knowing what is likely to await him. He chooses this path of sacrifice, not for his own self serving needs, but for his family, friends, his people, his culture, his nation and for the preservation of Christendom. As such, he is sacrificing the most divine gift, life itself, in service of others and in service of God.

A Justiciar Knight who martyrs himself for the cause, and/or self terminates during or after an operation for tactical reasons, should be celebrated as martyrs for the Church. It is expected that the Catholic Church and other denominations of Church authorities in Europe (and independent canon law experts) acknowledges our sacrifices and defines our deeds as acts of martyrdom for the Church, according to canon law. The Church should not have second thoughts on the matter as they are fully aware of the fact that European Christendom is gradually being deconstructed.

It is time that the Pope and his cardinals begin to resist the deliberate deconstruction of European Christendom. pp. 1346,48 http://www.kevinislaughter.com/wp-content/uploads/2083+-+A+European+Declaration+of+Independence.pdf

The man was of the wrong faith, and born in the wrong century. So much for texts such as “Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” (John 18:36)

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: “ (2 Corinthians 10:3)

“By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, “ (2 Corinthians 6:6-7)

It’s cute the way you excuse illiteracy.

You almost make it seem like an admirable trait, or a virtue.

Are your kids illiterates? That would explain your efforts at justification.

Be proud of them. Rejoice in their ignorance.

BFI pays Porta-Potty maintenance folks fairly well, I’m told.
