SALT LAKE CITY Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is taking a new approach to hammering Pres. Barack Obama and campaigning in Iowa.
Romney seems to be choosing his words more carefully as he verbally attacks Obama, Politico concludes in an article published Thursday. The piece compares a Romney campaign stop in Pennsylvania last month with his visit Wednesday to Southern California.
"Romney spoke Wednesday in front of a long-defunct mall near Los Angeles, and repeatedly pointed out that the mall's closure wasn't entirely Obama's fault. 'Obviously, the challenges here are not all the result of the current administration,' Romney said, waving at the building behind him.

See, Romney *can* appeal to the birchers.

When 2 strong conservatives run with a moderate, and neither conservative will back down the moderate will be the one elected every time.

Mittens has taken so many “nuanced” positions on everything that he's a spherical candidate. He could have a one man debate with himself (without any other candidates present) and who knows which one of the Romney schizophrenic persona would win?
Myth Romney looks more and more like sleazy used car salesman every time he opens his mouth. Go away, Myth. You're a legend in your own mind.

Romney is just one of three or four who will run saying, I can do every thing that Obama can, only better. They will then go on to lose the general election and loudly proclaim from the sidelines that they could have bankrupted the country faster than Obama did.
Take a look at history people. We are repeating the nineteen thirties. Let us not repeat Alf Landon who ran with, I can do the same as FDR only better and after losing insisted that he could have done it faster.
Please let us throw out the Alf Landons and nominate a history changer. I believe that person to be Sarah Palin. She can eliminate the Obama second term and I believe guide us away from oblivion as a nation.

Since when has Romney been opposed to crony capitalism? I think his Olympics thing showed him to be a master of it.That was more of a LDS Church "put on a good front for the rest of the world" thing.

some just like his Ken looks...plastic. I have one or two conservative friends who (unbelievably) support Romney. Here's why:
They recall something about him being successful in business.
He's personally wealthy.
He helped to fix an Olympics debacle.
He was Governor of Massachusetts.
He ran in the 2008 primary.
He claims to be a conservative.
He's got really white teeth and good hair.
That's about it. When I question them closely, I find that they're completely uninformed about his real track record in government, or about his real political bona fides.
