Obama Is Nearing His Goal (Obama deliberately torpedoed budget talks to generate crisis?)
CFIF.org ^ | July 22nd, 2011 | Quin Hillyer

Posted on 07/22/2011 4:58:43 PM PDT by Qbert

As I have written and argued repeatedly for months, President Obama wants a crisis. He plans to use a crisis to seize even more power for himself and for the government. Now he is a significant step closer to his goal. Despite his finger-pointing con-job in his nasty press conference this afternoon, Obama is the one who deliberately torpedoed the budget talks. He is the one who has yet to put an actual plan on the table. He is the one who refused to even let GOP negotiators talk. He is the one who insisted through most of the year that no other provisions be attached to the hike in the debt limit — that the debt limit hike should be “clean” rather than include even a single cost saving.

Now, as Speaker John Boehner just said, and as so many others have said in less vivid language, “dealing with the president is like negotiating with a bowl of Jello.” He just won’t stay still. And he’s doing it on purpose. He’s doing it because he doesn’t want a deal. He wants a crisis. This is a very dangerous game he’s playing, but he’s playing to win. And if he wins, we all lose — we lose financially, and we lose at least some of our freedom. Mark my words. This is what Obama’s game is. To try to win it, he has been fibbing, faking, and fulminating. Once he wins it, he will do far worse.

Yes the congress can block his action. Simply override the veto. If the kenyan vetos CC&B and causes a default, thats treason. If they have to, impeach him for treason and remove him from office. The marxist has to go before he takes down the entire western economy. The dems have got to figure a way to get him out. There is no way the nation can survive another 500 days of him. Every dingle day another disaster. They need to push him out like the repubs did to Nixon.

Pelosi is ...she often says the President’s this or that...not the people’s this or that.

Listen to the rhetoric and the less they speak about the people...and the more about the President’s motives...

that tells you where their loyalties are.

I think he is setting everything up to do just that, now or before the elections.

Perhaps. But I certainly do not believe it will achieve his desired results.

So no deal by August 2 and the Treasury prioritizes what gets paid and the military is at the bottom - then Obama should be impeached for not honoring the Constitution and defending the nation.

Fu*k impeachment! He should be given a speedy trial for treason and hung!

Obama stated in the Press conference after the meeting that if the debt limit was not passed he would write a memo and pass it himself.

Da man be da King I tell you.

Who wins if our economy tanks? Bondholders of course. So follow the money - who’s got all the bonds? The Fed, the Government, the Banks, the Chinese, the Japs. Nothing new here.

Boehner already said he will go to that meeting. Maybe after tomorrow’s meeting
he should invite(summon) Obama to a meeting at the Capitol. If he doesn’t show,
call a press conference saying so. If he does show, have C-Span cameras there to let everyone see his arrogance or see him storm out upon seeing the cameras.

I know this will never happen.

This guy is just like Yasar Arafat.

He had the deal of the century but walked away from the table because it wasn't all of it and it would have settled it.

Yasar needed the conflict to survive, move his agenda foward and line his pockets. He was just another mafioso but with a head scarf. Just like this little Alinski-puke, crisis, agenda, move your ball foward....

G_d help up, pray for America...

“Can that be done? Is there a way to circumvent Obama?”

It is shockingly simple.

Write the FY2012 budget on our terms and when he demands more money, you say “NO”.

He shuts down the Government. You say “NO” to his demands for more spending.

He calls you names. You say “NO”.

Hold the line.

Obama can only spending the money that is legally budgetted and the House should NOT relent and spend more money out of intimidation from Obama.

Back in the 90’s the Republicans were blamed for shutting down the gov’t and swayed the elections. The Dems are trying to create the same situation. They have nothing to run on as to their accomplishments so they are trying to create a crisis that the media will of course blame all the right people.
