In an eye-poppingly nasty and derranged press conference, Obama ordered Boehner and McConnell to appear before His Majesty tomorrow morning (7/23) at 1100 (that's 11:00, military time). The conference was called by The One to express his displeasure with the Repubs because they refuse to accept almost $2 trillion in new spending in order for the debt ceiling to be raised "until 2013" so Obama doesn't have to deal with that issue as he runs for reelection.
Stay tuned.

Furthermore, he can't even order any ordinary citizen to do that.
We have to live with the scraps for now in that at least the Speaker hasn't totally surrendered yet to the obviously defeated Dems.
It would be so easy if the MSM would tell the truth—they can still make us think we are losing when reality tells us we have already won.

Thank you. I get your point. But it has been my experience that it is mostly commie-libs who run out of credible things to say when debating a subject, and quickly resort to ad hominim attacks, calling people nazis, etc. They frequently did that with GWB.
But I frankly don’t see how that relates to your prediction that Obluffer is about to go “barking mad,” as the Brits sometimes say when they refer to someone coming unravelled.
This is a no-brainer. Boehner and McConnell should test the validity of Constitutional co-equal separations of powers among the three equal branches, and do whaever their obligations require.
Perhaps meet with other members of the Republican negotiation teams and discuss future strategy?

It would be a mistake for Boehner and/or McConnell to not show up Saturday morning.
Obama, Reid, Pelosi and other Dems, as well as the MSM, have been saying for weeks that it is the Republicans that don’t want to sacrifice anything. The GOP has been blamed for not dealing. ....Skipping the meeting Saturday would just give the Dems more fuel for the fire to burn the GOP.
That said, I’d like for Boehner to show up in his golfing clothes and announce that he has an early afternoon tee time, so can’t stay beyond 2 pm, UNLESS something of substance is put on the table.
The Executive branch is not superior to the Legislative branch, and it was another display of Obama’s arrogance to “order” the Congress leaders to present themselves at his office.
This kind of issue is why our founders designed the three branches of government to be separate.
I hope the senators sleep in. Protecting our constiutional governement would almost demand that they ignore this huge overstepping by the executive branch.
