Wasn’t Hess a rather low level functionary? I remember reading somewhere he parachuted into England against orders from his Nut Boss to try and arrange an armistice and was arrested.
I’m surprised there are a significant number of Neo Nazis still around.
Big whoop...Just do it...Don;t give them any advertisement!!
Wouldn’t neonazis consider Hess to be a traitor? (Not that I expect them to be logical)
Whatever purpose Hess had in flying to England it must have been very embarrasing.
After being held incommunicado for half a century, now even his bones have been erased.
Nothing of the sort. Hess and Hitler went back together as fellow occultists in the Thule Society. From the occultist Thule society, Hess helped Hitler transform the occultic German Workers into the occult based nazi party.
Hess and Hitler were in prison together following the Beer Hall Putsch. While in prison together, Hitler dictated and Hess wrote Mein Kampf.
Hess ultimately rose to be third in command behind Herman Goering.
On the eve of Operation Barbarossa, Hess took off on a solo mission to England that remains shrouded in official secrecy but ostensibly, he was attempting to secure Germany's flank in anticipation of the invasion of Russia.
Because the objective of Operation Barbarossa was the capitulation of Russia in 1941, all Germany needed from England was assurance that no major offensive would be launched at Germany's flank, or North Africa in 1941. To what extent England complied will never be known but for certain, no major British offensive action took place in 1941 against the Germans.
But don’t worry, neo-Nazis. Hess’s skull will be stored with the skulls of the other Nazi leaders, at Yale’s Skull and Bones society.
They need those skulls for their...rituals.

Just cremate him and give his ashes to his family.
I can’t agree with Beck. This is part of a very dangerous campaign to white wash history. It will be forgotten.
Wasn’t there some doubt that Hess was actually the guy locked up in that cell all those years?
I seem to remember reading something to that effect; nutty conspiracy theory or possibility?
Anyone?
Hitler’s plan to negotiate a separate cease-fire and peace treaty with Britain was well known when Hess “defected”. He was picked up in Scotland (if memory serves), and during his postwar trial was suffering from some kind of early-onset dementia (or the aftereffects of interrogation, narcosynthesis, and/or torture). This led to a conspiracy theory that the “real” Hess had really defected, and that for some unknown (and unimaginable, frankly) reason, the British put Hess’ double on trial after the war, and put that double in Spandau for the rest of his natural life. Hess was found hanged at Spandau, but given his physical condition by that time, it’s pretty plausible that he didn’t commit suicide. What reason there was to keep him incarcerated for so long, give or take murdering him, is beyond me.
Good idea...but those low lifes will find some other shrine at which to worship.
