Let them eat their shoes and sandwiches:Boycott the NFL

The NFL, Nike and Subway, in an incredibly insulting slap in the face to the 86% of Americans that own and cherish their companion animals, has gone out of its way to hire the only person they feel appropriate to promote their products, Michael “DOGKILLER” Vick.

O.J. Simpson wasn’t available.

I figure they want everyone that handles their products to feel just like Michael “DOG KILLER” Vick felt when he had his hands around the throat of his dog, choking the life out of it for losing a fight.

As they slide their feet into their shoes, they can think of “DOG KILLER” sliding his two innocent house pets into the pit to be terrorized and ripped apart alive.

With every step of their feet hitting the ground, they can imagine feeling like “DOG KILLER ”Vick did as he lifted another fight-losing dog high over his head, and slamming it into the ground repeatedly, until it was dead.

The tingle of excitement they get from wearing new Nikes must make them feel just like “DOG KILLER” felt when he was electrocuting still other dogs that lost fights for him.

As they wash their shoes, they can be just like “DOG KILLER” Vick was,as he drowned his other dog, laughing as it struggled to escape its cruel fate.

Nike is missing a big new market,“ DOG KILLER” Trading Cards!

Every child under 12 should receive, a FREE pack of explicit, beautifully embossed, autographed photographs, with hand written descriptions, detailing all of the wonderful, new ways “DOG KILLER” enjoyed,(the quote of one of his friends was that, “he got off” on finding new ways),to kill his animals.

The depraved actions of this thug, …Vick is …. a piece of human….

I have been boycotting them for the last 40 years.

I never watch football, and I never will.

that own and cherish their companion animals

Sorry, we love them, but we call them pets. When did CoachIsRight go politically correct?

Vick has repented and works for an organization to end dog fighting.

How much was from true repentance and how much was from a financial analysis by his lawyers, accountants, publicists and league executives? I can't look into his heart - only into his past actions before he was caught.

Fotball:

60 minutes on clock & only about 11 minutes of actual playing time. BORING !

Vick is trash. If Brady hadn’t had such a stellar year last year DOGKILLER would have been MVP. He did time for his crime, but he’s still an evil POS. JMHO.

Haven't you heard? Vick has "rehabilitated" his image. It is doubtful that he really regrets any animal cruelty he was responsible for, but thanks to the media, his "image" is looking fine. In today's world, image is everything.

Ok. He said his only regret was his long jail term.

Vick has repented and works for an organization to end dog fighting.

Let's see what he does when his playing days are over, and he has nothing to lose.

I hope it’s something like “Hello, I’m Michael Vick and a recovering animal abuser. Instead of strangling, fighting, drowning, and electrocuting dogs, now I am putting my work, my mouth, and my money to the ASPCA and reputable local humane societies (please steer clear of the pet hating HSUS and PETA) to place thousands of unwanted dogs and cats each year in forever homes.”

Don't forget the two hours of commercials ... which is why games are three-plus hours long.

I’ve been an NFL fan, But I’ve become incredibly annoyed at the amount of time commercials are played.

Team scores — 5 minutes of commercials.

Kickoff and return — 5 more minutes of commercials.

3 and out and punt — 5 more minutes of commercials.

There’s more time spent on playing commercials than to showing the game being played.

Nothing to lose — except perhaps for some sense of honor of the sport.
