Track is married.
Huh??? Track is pregnant too? It’s a freakin’ miracle, I tell ya!
That’s just the way life is in America today; the best of parents can’t stop the decline. It’s happened in my family as well.
I probably wouldn't be too thrilled either, but things happen.
My mother's parents loved my father and treated him as if he was their own son. My parents "had" to get married because I was on the way. They were happily married until my mother passed a couple years ago - and I'm over 50.
“I know everyone here loves Sarah Palin, but personally I would be horrified if two of my kids got pregnant before they were married.”
Well it would never happen to my SONS.
And yet I bet you’d have a hard time finding a family in America that didn’t have one if not more ‘unplanned weddings’ in their history.
(Much to their surprise) Baby Boomers didn’t invent premarital sexual relations.
Sarah was pregnant with Track when she and Todd married.
Don’t know if you are even married or have children? But, if so , good chance you are going to be horrified.
One can raise children to the highest of your standards. But when they get out into the real world with peer pressure, many, many youngsters do get/make pregnant before marriage.
SARAH doesn’t live in fear like you do. She saves her horrified at how our country is being taken down - not at two children who are healthy and taking care of their own.
Do you have kids? If not, keep on living. You may have a surprise or two down the road.
Track did not get pregnant.
BTW there are two things that are important here:
1) They are having a baby (as opposed to killing it)
2) They are getting married.
This is a cause for celebration. I would bet that under these circumstances you, as a parent, would be overjoyed with the outcome of this situation. They made it right.
God is pleased.
FWIW Bristol is a much better person for having gone through what she did. Any mother would be proud to have such a fine daughter.
Sarah raised her kids right. She didn't raise them to be perfect, she raised them to be adults.
One of mine did. Was I particularly happy about the situation? No, but we did what we felt was the right thing to do at the time, and have come to see that it *was* the right thing (no abortion).
Will our offspring invariably make a decision the way we would choose for them to do? No, the other factors involved in our society at present absolutely precludes this, so it is incumbent on us to understand where we stand, and more importantly, why...

You have that on your home page. Do you believe it? If so, THANK the guy you are SO horrified at!! Everyone has rhetoric to ‘appear’ as something until they see an opportunity to slam. How pathetic of you.
From one who has been there, horrified, no. Disappointed, yes. But marveling nonetheless at how wonderfully things have turned out.
Our standards are ideals, but we are all sinners. Which does not mean that standards and ideals are not important.
Track is pregnant?
Well you know what? Life happens. Kids sometimes do things that disappoint their parents. It’s very humbling.
