This morning, the Daily Caller published a story I was inclined to leave to others: Michele Bachmann suffers from severe migraines.
But now the Bachmann camp has suddenly invited a whole lot more scrutiny to the story. At an event today, ABC News reporter Brian Ross tried to ask her about her condition, and according to another reporter on the scene, Times Michael Crowley, Bachmanns handlers got pretty rough and aggressive with Ross:
"Ross dashed after Bachmann, repeatedly asking whether she had ever missed a House vote due to a migraine. She ignored him. Ross pursued her into a parking area behind the stage. Her aides grew alarmed. When Ross made a beeline for the white SUV waiting to carry Bachmann away, two Bachmann men pounced on him, grabbing and pushing him multiple times with what looked to me like unusual force. In fact, I have never seen a reporter treated so roughly at a campaign event, especially not a presidential one. Ross was finally able to break away and lob his question at Bachmann one more time, but she ignored him again. Afterward, I asked Ross a hard-nosed pro who nevertheless seemed slightly shaken whether hed ever been treated so roughly. A few times, he told me. Mostly by mafia people.
Jeffrey Schneider, a senior vice president for ABC news, reiterated the charge in an interview with me just now.

Act like a stalker, get treated like a stalker.
Where the hell are Obama’s medical records?
Does he have brain damage from his days as a coke head?
No video = Never happened.
He deserved what he got! Reporters are basically ambulance chasers & trash. They would do anything for a story to dig up dirt on any conservative or other decent person. If a reporter was dying of thirst & I had the last glass of water on earth, I’d pour it out.
Here in MA, Attorney General Martha Coakley (left) used goons to hurl reporters to the pavement during her last election outing.
NO.We saw something similar in the scott brown campaign.
A reporter got roughed up for trying to ask questions.
It shouldn’t happen.
Ross is obviously one of those who has never asked any tough questions of an AFL-CIO types.
If he had, he’d know what “roughed up” really means.
The notoriously incurious media suddenly gets curious.
Yeah prove it
Give her some Midol, she’ll be OK.
Excellent memory! Remember the outrage over this one, all the stories, investig...oh, wait Marcia was a democrat.
Brian Ross is a Girly man nd Michelle could have taken him out by herself. I would lash out if someone pinned me in a cprner when I was trying to get into my car.
Deck a lefty today. They deserve it and it will make you feel good too.
Michele’s “Telemarketing Hounds from Hell” must double as bodyguards.
Here we go, Michelle’s got Baraq’s campaigned worried, so now we’ll see his handmaidens in the media try to do a Palin on her.
Agreed, wait until that blowdried a-hole finds out what the US Secret Service will open up on him if he tries running after PRESIDENT Bachmann!;)
They can’t prove it, just like John Lewis can’t prove he was spit on during the Obamacare circus. All these cameras and no proof, but the left demands we believe them.
They had and continue to have absolutely no curiosity about Obama’s medical conditions. - The Palinization of Bachmann continues. She’s being set up; SNL will do a skit on her migraines and create a caricature. Then, the lawsuits will begin, until they rack up 200 lawsuits on her like they did Palin in Alaska; then they’ll do everything they can to destroy her and break her family. - Only the RINO they want will be left standing. People are a bit wiser to their tactics now than they were in 2008; but they’re rabid and relentless. They must keep Little Hitler in office at all costs. (The Liberals always called George Bush Hitler, you know. That cuts two ways.)
Hopefully Ross will get the details on her menstruation cycle — far more interesting than the widely omitted reports concerning Obama’s college transcripts, social security numbers, trips to Pakistan, etc.
