AP ^ | July 19, 2011 | ANDREW TAYLOR

The 234-190 vote sends the "cut, cap and balance" plan to the Democratic-controlled Senate, where it has virtually no chance of passing.

I meant you’re wasting your breath explaining to Palin KADs BDS’ers why Bachmann voted no.

Now would be the opportunity for the Democrats who still consider themselves Americans to make a statement.

Approve the house bill and make Obama veto it. They might just do that so Obama can veto it and show his base that he is the man.

Don’t discount it. Obama will lose more credibility when he says “I said if this crosses my desk I would veto it. The bill never crossed my desk.”

And leave it to YOU to bring up Palin in a thread about Bachmann. You’re pathetic.

It's awful hard to square that NO vote with this...

Yes, she did say that and please don't ask me for a link, because I really don't remember where I saw it, but I do remember reading it.

There won't EVER be a BILL, now, that says it's doing away with ObabamCare and so this is a cop-out for her. Wake up; she talks out of both sides of her mouth and/or wants to have things both ways, while helping the DEMS!

As I’ve already stated she had her own legislation (with Steve King and Louie Gohmert) which would prioritize our spending and NOT raise the debt ceiling. This vote is basically buying into the MSM meme that we have to raise the debt ceiling or the world will come to an end. Let’s not forget that Ryan, Boehner, Cantor all voted for TARP.

You’re correct and Bachmann knows this, or if she doesn’t, she isn’t as “bright” as others claim she is.

Similarly, Michele Bachmann voted no on the final passage. She had been adamant about not raising the debt ceiling, offering a yes vote only in exchange for a full repeal of ObamaCare.

That's naive, plain and simple.

I’m all over that too R_D.

The senate plan is “gaining momentum” while the house wastes time passing a bill with “no chance in the senate”.

The way I see it is the CCB plan is gaining momentum while the Senate wastes time passing a bill with no chance in the house.

Just wow on the poor reporting from media.

Of course if Palin was one of the ‘no’ votes all we'd hear about is how courageous she is standing up to the GOP establishment.

But Palin was not one of the 'no' votes.

Well sorry without a link or a quote where Bachmann specifically says she would vote for this legislation I have no reason to believe you. Bachmann has always said she wouldn't vote for a debt ceiling increase without a defunding of Obamacare. If this legislation allows for an increase in the debt ceiling (which Ron Paul says it does) then I'm not surprised Bachmann voted no.

Oh what PROJECTION!

I, for one of many here, who are Palin supporters, would eviscerate her, if she pulled this crap.

That legislation was to guarantee the military would get paid.

No where in her official statement on Promises does she ONCE mention repealing Obamacare. Why would she insist on adding that caveat to CC&B?

For the record: YOU:

“She said that she would vote yes on this, last week, or thereabouts. She’s pulling a Ron Paul ( has done it before ), which means that she’s voting WITH the DEMS, as he so often does! Will she vote for the damned GANG OF SIX crapola, instead?”

ME: “Please quote where she said she would vote yes.”

YOU: “Yes, she did say that and please don’t ask me for a link, because I really don’t remember where I saw it, but I do remember reading it.”

CONCLUSION: You tried to lie in this thread about Michelle Bachmann. When others decided to call you on it, you are unable to quote where she said she would vote yes.

Again, please quote where she said she would vote yes. We are all waiting for you to substantiate your claim.

Or takes her dolls and goes home when she doesn’t get what she wants. Way to put the American people first, Michele.

It’s amazing.

It exists, where she said she would vote yes, but you are not able to find it, and you can’t remember it, even though someone just posted it a few posts up.

Really amazing how its that close but you are unable to quote it.
