Most can't afford a vacation; Obama will jet to Martha's Vineyard

Yes . Great white spotted off Chatham Mass a short while back. The Vineyard will be tied up and squared off all while Obama is there. The Democrats in Massachusetts may not mind but anyone trying to negotiate that area while on vacation will find it a pain in the keester. One can only hope for lots of rain for him .

Well when you don't have any class but are given a free opportunity to go to places where people do, then you of course abuse the privilege offered you by the country you and your pig wife hate.

I think, for future presidents we need to limit the number of vacation days to 2 weeks the first term and 3 weeks the 2nd term just like the rest of us.

I remember R. Reagan refusing to go on a Christmas holiday to his home and telling Nancy that, the Secret Service had been away from their families too much during the past year and they should be allowed to stay home for the holidays.

How many other presidents gave this much thought to "We The People"? Not many and certainly not this piece of human excrement.

I'm not sure if the opening line in the article.."that 56% of families who usually take a summer vacation cannot aford to this year.." is actually correct.

There are many who can't affod to do so, but I suspect that the vast majority could still do so, but choose not to..they're limiting unnecessary expenditures, adding to savings, paying down debt..all of the above. This may signify a significant change in America's behavior..and if the consumer doesn't return, then the recession will take much longer to end..
