My kids are visiting from North Carolina.

After three days the subject of presidential politics came up. My son a very fiscally conservative individual with libertarian overtones pronounced Perry to be the candidate. Palin will not run, All others toast.

I have made no comments what so ever that might have influenced him.

To me this means that the Perry candidacy has depth and has already reached far down in the electorate for support

I see the exact same thing on the ground here in Iowa. Perry is the 800 pound gorilla and is a game changer.

I have posted before that I see Perry as the comprise go-to guy. Romney has too much baggage with ObamaRomneycare and his religion. Bachmann is too conservative for the 'moderate' Republicans. That makes Perry more palatable to both sides.

Actually, it's probably a better demonstration of the ability of the MSM to propagate the RiNO Judas-horse message to ininformed conservatives:

"Perry is conservative. He is an electable alternative to Michele Bachmann and Her Who Must Not Be Named." </lie>

Perry's an OBL, cheap-labor-importing, SPP-coddling, Bilderberg-toadying, North American Union-building, tax-and-spend NWO/CFR tool.

Unless you think replacing Texas highways with toll roads and selling off and tolling existing roads for revenue isn't "taxation".
