Segment ended in mid-comment; had to cut away. Will have them back.
Still no candidate you'd like to name? Hmmm? Just a hint? Third party maybe??
Third Party = DEMOCRAT IN WHITE HOUSE
Do you know why these guys are laughing? They are laughing because its too easy. The rubes will vote their worst enemy as long as they aren't from the wrong party. And people wonder why things only get worse in this country.
Did you see the Round Table segment of Rick Perry last night on "Special Report?"
I'll take that to mean you're a bomb tosser not a serious poster.
We really don’t have to worry about the northeastern states as they’re expected to be blue anyway. We worry about Ohio, MI, Fl, PA and IA. We MUST defeat Obama.

Its important to point out that there is a huge difference in the Texas Dream Act and the The Dream Act that was pushed in Congress and failed. The Dream Act in Congress was full of all kinds of goodies other than allowing children of illegals to receive in state tuition. The Texas Dream Act was focused only on that. I happen to agree with The Texas Dream Act, and so did everyone in the Senate in Texas. It passed with ZERO no votes. Add to that, it has been proven to be successful.
These are a few things you need to know about the [2001] Texas Dream Act. The child has to have lived in Texas the three years leading up to high school graduation. These students are given no special treatment in getting into Texas colleges and universities. They must get in on their own merit. They are paying the tuition (with or without financial aid). Its estimated that these students make up about 1% of those entering college.

Most of us agree that border control MUST be dealt with first. The problem with all other efforts on this issue in the past is that the borders were not sealed. If there is anyone who we can trust to do that it is Gov. Perry (if he decides to run for President). He knows what goes on down at the border. He has gone there many times. He knows what needs to be done. There is no doubt in my mind that if he were President, he would seal our borders. But Perry also understands Hispanic outreach.

I also caught Erickson's dig at Palin about her “bus trips”.
I take Erickson for what he is, a guy who is sometimes right who does side with the establishment at times. I'm not necessarily knocking him, as he does need to feed his family and CNN is probably his primary source of income.
You're a big Perry supporter, I'm on the fence. I know he trends Conservative on social issues, but I don't view him as really strong on illegal immigration. I do see him being vulnerable on taking credit for the Texas economy, as you and I have discussed before (the acceptance of stimulus funds), and I don't know how well he'll play outside of Texas. I do see him as hurting Romney, and based upon that alone, I hope he does run.
Thank you for your thoughts
Re: dig at Palin.
Maybe this will make up for it.

Not going to happen even if Perry were to get to the office of Pres. It's already set and underway to merge CAnada, USA, and Mexico into one trade block etc. So the borders will never be closed...and why they have not been closed to date.
I will still refrain from running to Palin threads calling her attention starved who does reality shows with Kate +8. Who goes to movie premiers about herself, who does photo shoots over and over for Newsweek and frames her campaign around "girl power". I will however make those comment on Perry threads where people are discussing the possibility of his candidacy and why he would be a formidable candidate while continually being forced to ignore people who have broken down the 10 years as governor of Texas into 2 issues that never even came to pass.
Now back to why Perry will crush the real enemy, BHO.
“And theyll sure support him over Barack Obama.”
Exactly! Gov. Perry is not perfect, but he’s a zillion times better than Obama. I think he’d make a great President!
I’ve posted in detail about Perry before.
As for your apparent attempt to vindicate the Texas Dream Act, surely you must be joking. I suspect that most on FR don’t care at all that that the TDA wasn’t as bad as the federal version. It shouldn’t have been passed at all. Moreover, if you follow Perry as closely as you seem to think you do, you would know that he has flagrantly lied during campaigns about his intentions regarding the border. He and the other squish Rs in Austin have been all too eager to do the bidding of big donors such as Bob Perry and Charles Butt on the illegal immigration issue.
Then then are issues like the TTC, Gardasil, the gross revenues tax, overspending, the current accounting gimmicks budget, his signing of a “hate” crimes bill that even included giving sodomites special status, the lack of open carry in Texas, etc.
That’s right: Virginia, Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio and even North Carolina are key. And don’t underestimate the number of educated, middle-to-upper-middle-class voters there who won’t go for the cowboy God-squad act. (Iowa might eat it up.)
Gov. Rick Perry, with state Sen. Kirk Watson, left, greets the president as he arrives in Austin. Perry brought a four-page letter on border security.
None of what you posted (and always post to try to deflect from the simple reality) refutes the basic status of giving instate tuition for illegals, which is quite accurately all that we pointed out. And you’re right, illegals only need to cross the border three years before junior gets it!
Then I gather you’ll be voting for a Third Party candidate = 2 term Obama.
He was born in the USA. How could he not be a natural born citizen?
His parents were not citizens is not an answer.
“people who have broken down the 10 years as governor of Texas into 2 issues that never even came to pass.”
And it’s insane that they have done that and they ignore his 10+ years of executive branch experience-—a very powerful campaign point against Obama. People want experience and Gov. Perry is the only one out of all the potential candidates who has 10+ years of executive branch experience.
Perry will be able to crush Obama on the issues of (1) job creation and (2) experience. People seem to forget that the main issue of the 2012 election will be about JOBS!
