Laura Ingrahams baptismal cross went missing from her checked luggage at the Newark airport this weekend, and the syndicated radio host says either a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) worker or a Continental Airlines employee is responsible.
Ingraham had just finished several radio and television appearance in New York City and was in a rush to the airport. She told The Daily Caller she normally carries her luggage on planes, but since she was pressed for time and was carrying copies of her new book, she checked a suitcase before her Friday evening flight from Newark to Denver.

I think the airlines would frown on that. The only times we have ever taken a gun on a plane was when we were going hunting in Canada. He does not take his handgun on regular trips.
Pinging back to this thread on August17th.
Tonight as Laura hosted Bill O’Reilly’s show, she was wearing what looked like her old cross, but may have been a replacement that looks very much the same.
I only caught a few minutes of the show, since I haven’t watched BOR regularly for a long time. Just clicked by and there was Laura with her cross returned or replaced.
Easy to say, but hard to do. If the stuff had no value I wouldn't bother to haul it around in luggage. I agree about small high-dollar things like jewelry, but all of us have to pack along some pretty valuable stuff from time to time. I always take a few knives, tools, an ASP baton and some other gizmos everywhere I travel, and I have no choice but to put them in checked baggage. I've never had anything stolen, but I know it's a possibility.
The creation of the TSA during the Bush administration was a travesty.
Couldn’t airports have hired contractors to handle security?
Why did we need to create an entire, new federal agency? The growth of bigger government under Bush did not make us any safer. We just gave up more of our liberty and more of our economic freedoms. We have to pay the taxes to cover TSA and Homeland Security.
It’s all a big mess.
I supported Bush, but some of his ideas didn’t sit well with me. He disappointed me, time and again.
I will say, though. I’m glad he was president on September 11th and not Al Gore. I do not believe for one moment that Gore would have moved aggressively against terrorism in the world. He would have rolled over and played dead.
Because they are an army of Amalekites, abusing their power and enjoying the thrill of control over weary travelers.
Deu 25:17-18 Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt; 18 How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.
