Obama is suggesting that American prosperity can only be tied to government spending.
That is quite literally insane.
Tell the republicans NO CEILING INCREASE, NO TAX INCREASES, and $4 TRILLION IN CUTS. They can get the cuts they want by slashing red ink in waste and duplication... WITHOUT TOUCHING MEDICARE AND SSI.
If Obama was sincere about “raising revenue”, he would be talking about tax cuts - which increase revenue to the Teasury every single time they are implemented.
I wonder why our elected officials on their own time, with their own money, manage their family affairs a certain way...the responsible way; and then go to their office where they should behave exactly the same way, but instead spend our collective monies in the most irresponsible ways.
I want them to manage the country...(my money), the same way that they would manage their own funds at home. Otherwise, VOTE THEM OUT!
