That is not now, nor has there ever been a conservative democrat. They talk conservative when they demand a compromise, then go right back to their roots.

You obviously grew up in a different place and time than I...where and when Democrats were as conservative as today's Conservatives.

BTW, my parents switched parties in 1956, after my dad went to hear Ronald Reagan.
