SAN DIEGO (AP) -- More than 200 active duty troops and war veterans waving small American flags alongside rainbow banners are marching in San Diego's gay pride parade.
It's believed to be the first time an identifiable group of active duty troops has participated in such an event in the U.S.

I'm a veteran and my eldest son is a veteran. We both talked my youngest son out of joining. My eldest left a couple of years ago, said "It's changed....a lot."
Sad disgusting and sick.
And the repeal of DADT just got put on hold. Gotta ping that out later today. (Struggling with 8 gallons of cherries at the moment.)
The pink tank must mean they don’t like combat. this is what the armed forces are getting into with the new gay-friendly policy.
And despite their combat gear, even if they are veterans, they’re probably all REMFs.
Colon Commandos?
Veterans of the Brown Eyed Brigade.
If this Tank’s a rockin’ don’t come a knockin’
Elite Rump Rangers
The “Tolerant” straight is probably worse than these sick souls.
Hopefully the crowd will turn their backs on them when they march pass......on second thought, maybe that is not such a good idea!
Having a hard time verifying that “more than 200” number. I count 7 in the picture.
Could we have the names of all the “active-duty gay” participants?

I just pinged it out:

Nauseating. Here’s a snip from the end of the Fox article, Those who “died for equality”? What, people who died of AIDS??? This is so sickening and horrible I can hardly stand it.
On Saturday, a contingent of active-duty troops and veterans are expected to march in San Diego’s gay pride parade.
Former Navy operations specialist Sean Sala is organizing what is believed to be the first military contingent of troops and veterans to lead a gay pride parade.
Sala said the parade group wear T-shirts showing their branch of service. They will walk with two horses — one draped in an American flag and the other with the rainbow-colored Pride flag — to honor service members and those who have died for equality.
Its going to change a lot more and not for the good.
Such a sight would make enemy troops either (1)too busy vomiting to fight,or,(2)die laughing.
It could be worse. If I'm not mistaken that AFV is a British model. From some private collection. Someone who goes to that expense won't let it be permanently altered. Almost certainly the pink is water color. It'll easily wash off.
Besides, there is precedent.
Here we go: We should form units that are 100% gay, and let them have their pink tanks. Something tells me in a combat scenario, they’ll be a much brighter and more obvious target than a beige/green/grey tank :)
