Doesn’t seem to be having much impact right now. There will be more articles on such provocations though, as there shall be more provocations to report.

Precisely. There were some early memos from the Nazi concentration camp administrators, mentioning the difficulty in getting the normal young German soldier to commit these acts. The recommendation was to get the ball rolling with ‘former’ criminals first, to make it easier for the others. In time, the soldiers who had been traumatized by these orders eventually grew calloused and got over it, but the sociopaths within the ranks were the icebreakers.
When this was initially reported on the local news, their talking head gave the impression it was to round up illegal aliens.
