They fly over and find tuna schools. Tell the boat where they are. The boat throws out sardines while another boat wraps a net around them. Scuba divers jump in the net and grab sharks and kicks them out. Then they drag the net back to port, feed the tuna a lot more so they get fat and make $10 million a catch.

HA! That’s cool I don’t care who you are.

I was interested right up until the “...grab sharks...”.

Problem is they are decimating the schools. There are fewer and fewer fish every year.

When we catch giant bluefin tuna we fly to Canada,Boston,NC wherever they are, charter a $1,500 dollar a day boat run by two or three people, stay in local motels, eat out at local restaurants, use 1,000 dollar rods with 2,000 dollar reels, take one or two fish and release the rest to be caught another day or netted by commercials who are allowed to catch 100 times what we are.

I still say its all BS netting those valuable fish.

Its even worse with swordfish and they have a world wide quota which means so many will be slaughtered by longliners every year.
