Libs Outraged Over Paul Ryan’s $350 Bottle of Wine, Silent When Nancy Pelosi Drowned $101,000

Cheers.

For some reason the libs weren’t so outraged when Obaama served $399 bottles of wine at his taxpayer-funded state dinner …

… but Libs today were “stunned” and “outraged” that popular conservative Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) ordered a $350 bottle of wine for dinner in New York.

TPM reported, via Ann Althouse:

When [Professor Feinberg] saw the label on the bottle of Jayer-Gilles 2004 Echezeaux Grand Cru Ryan’s table had ordered, she quickly looked it up on the wine list and saw that it sold for an eye-popping $350, the most expensive wine in the house along with one other with the same pricetag.

Feinberg, an economist by training, was even more appalled when the table ordered a second bottle….

“We were just stunned,” said Feinberg…

She was outraged …. [my emphasis]

I aspire to enjoy $350 wine someday, and when that day comes, I will relish it.

I’m not arguing moron. I simply pointed out the facts. I also noted in my earlier post to you that it is reasonable to assume that Ryan paid for it by his own private account.

That does not erase the fact that he is a Public servant paid by tax payers. Paul Ryan is a seemingly upstanding congressman but as far as I’m concerned ALL of them are overpaid. Period.

It’s disgusting that FR has become an attack machine by moronic posters. What’s conservative is to SLASH SLASH SLASH. The money that all of them make is from bleeding the citizens.

I appreciate your zeal!

I no longer purchase the zeal brand...I found it reported on the internet that the zeal company is actually using grapes in the manufacture of their product!

OK...not actual grapes....they buy the "left overs" from Welchs and use that....but still!!!!

Yeah, what kind of course is that?

I can tell you that there isn't money enough to make me love her.

Nor $350 bottles of wine!

Well....each to his/her own I always say...but there is nothing like our wine consumed out of a 16oz size tin can!

Now THAT'S livin'!!!

I really enjoy a great bottle of wine, and my tastes run toward reds, Merlots and a Ruby Port. But I cannot believe my palate could tell the difference in a $50 bottle of great wine and a $350 bottle of wine. How do you do it?

I've seen enough taste test's to know...it's not the price of the wine..that "makes" the wine. It's what you like....

I've had $18 bottle wine...that was excellent. And $80 bottle wine that I didn't like...

I've smoked $20 gars...that I didn't like..and $2 ones that I did.....It's all what you like.

Has very little to do with price.....

All in my humble OKIE opinion..........

That same prune faced harpie would have been flapping her lips if Paul Ryan had ordered a bottle of Ripple.

Then he would have been a cheap tight backwoods Republican trying to deny the server a good tip. LOL
