If Michelle Bachman is against it, NJDC is for itno matter how loathsome.
Bachmann Does Not Hesitate to Sign Offensive Pledge by Ariela Fleisig reinforces our long-held belief that the National Jewish Democratic Council has no decency, character, or honor whatsoever. It is now on record as supporting Sharia, single-family parenting (as desirable as opposed to an unfortunate necessity that might be caused by loss of a parent), and even violence against women because Michelle Bachmann signed a pledge that opposes these things.
Fleisig opens her article as follows. We have highlighted the key part.
Presidential candidate Representative Michele Bachmann (R-MN) signed a highly offensive pledge advanced by the Iowa social conservative group The Family Leader. The pledge insensitively compares childrearing by single parents and same-sex couples to slavery, declares homosexuality a public health risk and compares it to polygamy, polyandry, and adultery, rejects a womans right to make decisions about her health, and continues the right wings incorrect straw-man argument against Islam. Nearly every point in the pledge conflicts with the values of most American Jews, who largely disagree with most of the points made by the pledge and oppose racist and homophobic rhetoric.
Note that Fleisig repeats the same position twice in the same sentence, which rules out a typographical error or out of context statement. The article does not say that some (specifically named) points in the pledge conflicts with the values of most American Jews, it says that nearly all of them do. It then reiterates that Jews largely disagree with MOST of the points made by the pledge and then falls back on the left-wing canards of racism and homophobism.
The article then cites the points with which American Jews supposedly disagreea statement that we regard as anti-Semitic hate speech....

NJDC consists of extremely left-wing "Jews," or leftists who claim to be Jews, who then use their Jewish identity to whitewash the most loathsome imaginable conduct by left-wing Democrats.
(1) NJDC used its purportedly Jewish identity to whitewash MoveOn.org's anti-Semitic hate speech.
(2) NJDC published "Bubbie versus the GOP," an anti-Christian hate video that portrays ministers, Christians, and Jesus in a "This is the Enemy" context.
(3) NJDC blood libeled the Christian computer game "Left Behind: Eternal Forces" by accusing it of encouraging the player to kill anybody who would not become a Christian.
Noting that this most recent post by NJDC suggests that most American Jews support Sharia, violence against women, and so on (the posting says Jews oppose the points in the pledge signed by Bachmann, and specifically cite opposition to Sharia and violence against women), I would in fact call it anti-Semitic. From where I sit, NJDC might just as well have posted an excerpt from "The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion" and signed a Jewish name to it.
It is critical to note that this assessment does not rely on a typo or out of context statement. The author of the NJDC post said the same thing three times:
(1) "Nearly every point in the pledge conflicts with the values of most American Jews,"
(2) "who largely disagree with most of the points made by the pledge"
(3) "This pledge is just the latest indication that todays Republican Party has been taken over by extremists"
NJDC has said explicitly, and three times to make darned sure we heard it, that it says American Jews disagree with "most of the pledge" and "nearly every point in the pledge" and then cite opposition to Sharia, opposition to human trafficking, and opposition to violence against women as specific examples.
These are of course the kind of people who support Obama.
Glad we got this on the record.
It’s like the group I ran into called “Jews against circumcision” or “Catholics for Obama” or “Evangelicals for Mitt”. They’re a bunch of people who have to wear a professed creed to try and justify what others of their creed should believe. Trust me, all of these so-called “organizations” have websites of their own, or at least had one, during which I personally just had to sit back and think, wow, there’s a lot worse things to worry about than wearing religion over a politician or a political causes’ namesake.
MB has no decency, character, or honor whatsoever. I will go along with that
