“and cut the royalty rubbish”
That’s directed at the royalty haters on this thread, not you. You think just like me. Hence the “ditto”.

“He could get one and send it to me.”
Are you talking about a girl like Kate Middleton or a toupe?
I think it is an insult to all Americans that the royal couple did not pay a visit to our royal couple in the White House. /s/
Review the recent events...... the slight, the insult, came from the queen. She did not include the Wookie on the wedding invite list.
Wookies seethe when insulted and never forget
“”Wookies seethe when insulted and never forget””
You must have been asleep when they were hosted by the Queen on their trip to GB in May....
“”Too bad they did not come next week end now that would be a hoot””
What’s next weekend?
I think they are a great couple and very easy on the eyes.. Kate is going to become as adored as Diana was.
William got a lot of his moms features.

The fawning by LA media over celebrities in general is way over the top.
I actually *sorta* met Diana in a very small shop on Gloucester Road (South Kensington - London), soon after she was engaged to Charles, not yet married.
I was with an American friend in the same small shop. She was buying chocolate, had a body guard waiting outside the shop for her. I first glanced at her, then said to my American friend, “she looks like lady Diana Spencer”. She heard me, and threw me a look & a smile.. another woman who was also in the small shop then looked at me and pointed at her own finger, suggesting look at her (Diana’s finger, she is wearing “the” engagement ring, she *is* Diana..) and then whispered to me “go speak to her, ask her something”.. I wasn’t game. A few mins later, my friend & I stood behind her in the queue to pay. She turned and looked at me, smiled again and said: “forgot something, you first”, then she asked the shopkeeper to gift wrap the chocolate box. My friend & I paid & left the shop. I was a bit stunned, but didn’t think too much of it at the time, because living in London meant one could often see many ‘famous people’ in the West End.
I’ve never met nor run into Kate Middleton. But, I can tell you that Diana, even back then, that is before she became ‘Princess of Wales’, made a distinct impression on me. When I saw her in that small shop, she was very tall, wore a long dark green overcoat, red trousers, and her face was absolutely radiant... flawless skin that really made an impression on me. Kate is cute & pretty, but Diana was a classic beauty. And, Kate still has to learn from her late mother-in-law how to fight the wind up her dress. But, I’m very happy for both Wills & her bride. He obviously reminds many of his late mother.
Sorry, meant Wills and “his bride”.
