What a beautiful picture. I had a friend on Facebook post a little video of rain she took with her phone on her way back from East Texas. It sounded so good hitting her windshield. :(
Reading his write-up for the MOH doesn’t tell the whole story.
For example....when he finally returned with the Green Berets (got every one of them out), there wasn’t one piece of plexiglas on that chopper remaining. All completely shot out.
As he was balancing that bird on the riverbank, he was ducking down to keep from getting shot. There was a round that went right through the seat he was sitting in. If he had been sitting upright, he’d have been dead.
The man was acting on courage and adrenaline. Just an overall amazing story.

Bring rain to us all, Dear Lord! (My big fear is this dry lightening - no rain, but lightening everywhere - like this morning. It is a major wildfire danger.)
My guest was scheduled for a hot air balloon ride yesterday morning - we got up at 3:30 am to arrive at the pick-up point by 4:30 am. The ride was cancelled, due to weather.
So, we re-scheduled for today. It looked like it was a ‘go’. But lightening was flashing everywhere in the darkness of the morning - and I feared that the ride would be cancelled again.
I was right - I got the call from the company, at 4:50 am, as we were sitting in the parking lot, waiting for the pickp-up team. So..............the balloon ride is out. (Dang weather.)
Dang! That would have been fun!!

Nothing yesterday either, and not much chance today.
We had dark clouds coming our way the other day, and got a few rain drops that were about two inches apart. Some areas had about 1/2 inch, but that was at least 10 miles away.
Well, I snagged the GRAPHIC...and Jinxy snagged the 50. LOL!
So...I guess we both won! :)
graphic must have been good for you not to be upset in losing the 50.

I’ve lost soooo many lately! Gotten lazy.....
